Whether your ideal spa day includes a traditional Thai-inspired ritual, an oceanfront couples massage or a simple treatment accompanied by the sound of the waves, these five Anguilla spas offer distinctly different ways to unwind.
Zemi Beach House, LXR Hotels & Resorts — Thai House Spa
Located on Shoal Bay East, Zemi Beach House remains part of Hilton’s LXR Hotels & Resorts collection. Its Thai House Spa is one of Anguilla’s most distinctive wellness destinations.
The spa centers on an authentic Thai house that is more than 300 years old. Surrounded by tropical landscaping, the complex also includes a heated Vitality Pool and a juice bar serving cold-pressed drinks.
Treatments draw inspiration from Asian wellness traditions. Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla — The Spa
Set between Barnes Bay and Meads Bay, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla continues to operate its expansive seaside spa.
The 8,100-square-foot facility has 13 indoor treatment rooms, three ocean-view spa cabanas and dedicated spaces for facials and couples’ treatments. Guests can choose to have selected services indoors, in a breezy outdoor cabana or, by arrangement, in their room, suite or villa.
Among the spa’s signature offerings is the Blue Tranquility Massage, while the Four Seasons Ritual uses changing aromas and textures to evoke the four seasons. Couples can reserve side-by-side treatments, and the wider wellness program includes yoga, personal training, Reformer Pilates and an outdoor Strength Garden.
For a particularly elaborate escape, the resort has also introduced a private Night Spa Experience for couples. It combines after-hours spa access, a massage in an oceanfront cabana and a private evening on the spa terrace. Advance booking is essential.
Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel — Cap Juluca Spa by Guerlain
The spa at Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel, has undergone a significant transformation. Formerly known as Arawak Spa, it now operates as the Cap Juluca Spa by Guerlain.
Overlooking Maundays Bay, the redesigned wellness retreat incorporates open-air garden courtyards, water features and sea views. Its treatments combine Guerlain’s skincare expertise with inspiration drawn from Anguilla’s landscape, natural elements and Indigenous Arawak heritage.
Current signature experiences include Ocean Vibes, a treatment inspired by the movement of the sea; Infinite Renewal; Crystal Bowl Energy; and After-Sun Restoration. Massage, facial, beauty and couples’ treatments are also available, while a Guerlain boutique forms part of the spa complex.
The Romance Journey is designed for two and makes this a strong choice for honeymooners or couples celebrating a special occasion. The spa also welcomes outside visitors, subject to availability, so staying at Cap Juluca is not required to book a treatment.
Malliouhana — Spa at Malliouhana
Malliouhana is no longer part of Auberge Resorts Collection. The landmark Meads Bay property returned to independent operation in April 2023 and is managed by Storey Hotel Management Group.
The change in affiliation has not meant the end of its wellness program. Spa at Malliouhana continues to operate with six treatment rooms, a private infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean, a full-service salon, private training rooms and a larger fitness center.
Its signature treatments retain a strong sense of place. Into the Deep begins with a foot soak and hand scrub before progressing to a massage with plant essences, a cocoon wrap and a nourishing facial treatment. Drift Away combines a tropical sugar exfoliation, coconut and oat-milk bath, and massage with shea butter and calming essential oils.
Beyond spa appointments, Malliouhana offers a changing schedule of activities such as sunrise yoga, total-body workouts, flexibility sessions and Pilates. Tennis and pickleball facilities add an active dimension for travelers who prefer to combine exercise with recovery.
Malakh Day Spa
For something smaller and more informal, Malakh Day Spa offers treatments in an outdoor setting near the water on Shoal Bay East.
Instead of the enclosed atmosphere of a large resort spa, Malakh makes the island itself part of the experience: sea air, tropical breezes and the rhythm of the surf accompany treatments. Its menu includes massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and body treatments.
The Atlantic Body Buff uses sea salt for full-body exfoliation before a mineral-rich soak in the sea. Another longstanding option, the Purifying Stone Massage, alternates heated and chilled stones to help relax tight muscles. Aloe and cucumber body wraps are also offered, with the cucumber option intended to soothe skin after too much sun.
Malakh can arrange mobile treatments for guests who would rather receive a service at their accommodations. Its outdoor facility operates weather permitting, so appointments and conditions should be confirmed directly before visiting.
Planning an Anguilla Spa Vacation
Advance reservations are advisable at all five spas, particularly during Anguilla’s busiest winter and spring travel periods. Resort spas may accept outside guests, but availability and access to pools, lounges or other facilities can differ from one property to another.
Treatment menus, prices and operating hours also change periodically. Confirm the current menu, taxes, service charges and cancellation policy directly with the spa when booking.
