Whistler is entering an exciting new chapter for winter Pride with the Whistler Pride Festival, taking place January 25 to February 1, 2026. Tickets to the festival’s core events are now on sale, inviting visitors and locals alike to be part of a vibrant week of community, self-expression, and winter adventure in one of the world’s most iconic alpine destinations.

Presented by Tourism Whistler and TFD Presents, who bring over 20 years of experience producing major 2SLGBTQ+ events across Canada, the Whistler Pride Festival introduces a refreshed vision for Pride in the mountains – one that is fun, inclusive, and distinctly rooted in Whistler’s alpine culture.

“We’re incredibly excited about how the festival programming is shaping up,” said Bree Eagles, Manager of Events at Tourism Whistler. “This year is all about bringing people together—on the mountain, in the Village, and across a wide range of events that celebrate community, creativity, and connection. We’re proud to be creating a Pride experience that feels welcoming, dynamic, and uniquely Whistler.”

The Whistler Pride Festival blends refreshed programming with signature Pride moments, allowing guests to customize their experience throughout the week. From on-mountain experiences and relaxed social gatherings to après events and high-energy nightlife, the festival offers a variety of ways to join the celebration. The schedule features a mix of free, low-barrier, and ticketed events designed to ensure Pride feels inviting and accessible to all, with intentional spaces and events also available for women and youth.

Festival-goers can expect showstopping talent and infectious energy, with national and local performers bringing the festival to life. The lineup showcases the depth and diversity of 2SLGBTQ+ talent, including appearances by Canada’s Drag Race winner Venus, alongside Kendall Gender, Aurora Matrix, Hazel, and many more.

In addition to ticketed events, the Whistler Pride Festival will feature several beloved free community experiences, including daily guided ski and snowboard days on Whistler Blackcomb (lift ticket required) and the annual Rainbow Ski Out & Pride Parade on Friday, January 30, a showstopping ski-out featuring rainbow flags and Pride fashion. This visual celebration descends from the mountain into Whistler Village, culminating in a high-energy parade celebration with performances and entertainment.

Tickets are now available and selling quickly, with more programming announcements to come.
