Xcaret announces that Le Chique, the MICHELIN-starred restaurant led by Chef Jonatán Gómez Luna, has relocated to Hotel Xcaret Arte, bringing one of Mexico’s most celebrated culinary experiences to the adults-only, art-inspired resort in the Riviera Maya.
Known for its inventive and theatrical approach to Mexican gastronomy, Le Chique has earned international recognition for its highly technical tasting menus and immersive dining experience. Its arrival at Hotel Xcaret Arte further strengthens the hotel’s reputation as a destination for world-class dining.
Chef Jonatán Gómez Luna, one of the leading voices in contemporary Mexican cuisine, will continue to lead the restaurant in its new home. A member of the Xcaret Gastronomic Collective, Gómez Luna is known for reinterpreting Mexico’s culinary traditions through a modern and creative lens. His career includes training at some of the world’s most influential kitchens—including El Bulli, Arzak, Noma, and El Celler de Can Roca—as well as studies at the Culinary Institute of America.
Le Chique has received numerous accolades, including a MICHELIN Star in both 2024 and 2025 from the MICHELIN Guide Mexico. Chef Gómez Luna was also recognized with the MICHELIN Guide Mexico Mentor Chef Award, honoring his role in mentoring the next generation of culinary talent.
