The St. Regis Bali Resort is bringing the spirit of early 20th-century New York to Nusa Dua with the launch of Jack’s Club, a seasonal celebration of live jazz, creative cocktails and collaborative dining experiences.
Available from July through September, the activation transforms The St. Regis Bar into an elegant evening destination spanning its refined interiors and open-air terrace. The program is open to resort guests and local residents, offering another sophisticated addition to the growing luxury resort scene in Nusa Dua.
According to the resort, the Bali activation represents the first Jack’s Club to be introduced in a resort setting.
A St. Regis Tradition Reimagined in Bali
Jack’s Club takes its name from John Jacob Astor IV, the founder of The St. Regis New York. The concept pays tribute to an era when evenings at the original hotel revolved around lively conversation, polished hospitality and memorable entertainment.
Inspired by the jazz clubs and cabaret culture of early 20th-century New York, the global St. Regis concept reinterprets that heritage through experiences tailored to individual destinations. In Bali, the energy of the Jazz Age is blended with tropical flavors, open-air surroundings and the island’s distinctive approach to hospitality.
The result is an evening experience designed around gathering rather than simply dining or ordering a drink. Music, cocktails and conversation flow between the bar and terrace, encouraging guests to settle in and enjoy the atmosphere at a leisurely pace.
Guest Bartenders and Culinary Collaborations
Jack’s Club begins with a launch program highlighting craftsmanship in mixology and gastronomy.
Marco Dongi joins Jakkrit “Golf” Promchaisit, head mixologist at Bangkok’s Bar Sathorn, for two evenings of guest cocktails at The St. Regis Bar. Bar Sathorn was ranked No. 48 on the 2025 list of Asia’s 50 Best Bars, bringing an internationally recognized Bangkok bar perspective to the Bali program.
The culinary celebration continues at Kayuputi, the resort’s Pan-Asian restaurant. Chef Andrea Cofini, formerly of the two-Michelin-starred L’Atelier Robuchon, will present an exclusive dining experience that pairs his contemporary culinary approach with Kayuputi’s established Pan-Asian identity.
The collaboration expands Jack’s Club beyond the bar, connecting the evening’s music and cocktails with a specially created dining experience.
Live Jazz Throughout the Season
Music is at the heart of Jack’s Club, with a weekly program inspired by the golden age of New York jazz.
From Tuesday through Thursday, Bossa Nova rhythms create a relaxed and intimate soundtrack inside The St. Regis Bar and across its open-air terrace. The softer midweek program is designed for guests seeking a quieter evening of cocktails, music and conversation.
From Friday through Sunday, South African vocalist Whitney Pharoe takes the stage with a five-piece live band. Having performed internationally in Dubai and Spain, Pharoe brings together jazz standards, soulful ballads and contemporary favorites.
The varied weekly schedule allows the atmosphere to shift from understated midweek evenings to more energetic weekend performances while maintaining the polished character associated with St. Regis.
Jazz-Age Cocktails with a Balinese Influence
Complementing the music is a limited-edition cocktail collection developed exclusively for Jack’s Club by Giri Asta, head bartender at The St. Regis Bar.
The drinks draw inspiration from the glamour and creativity of the Jazz Age while incorporating tropical influences associated with Bali. Each cocktail reflects the attention to presentation, technique and detail that defines the St. Regis bar experience.
A Dom Pérignon pairing provides another option for guests looking to add a signature Champagne experience to the evening.
Together, the music and beverage program offers a different perspective on Bali nightlife—one centered on live performance and carefully crafted drinks within a luxury resort setting.
A New Evening Experience in Nusa Dua
Nusa Dua is best known for its beaches, luxury hotels and restorative escapes, including a growing collection of wellness and cultural experiences in Bali. Jack’s Club adds another dimension to the destination by creating an evening experience that can appeal to travelers and Bali residents alike.
“Jack’s Club is a celebration of everything that has defined St. Regis for more than a century—remarkable gatherings, exceptional craftsmanship and unforgettable evenings,” said Héctor Busto, general manager of The St. Regis Bali Resort.
“We are honored to introduce the first Jack’s Club in a resort setting, bringing together world-class music, distinguished culinary talent and elevated mixology in a way that reflects both the heritage of St. Regis and the vibrant spirit of Bali.”
Jack’s Club will be available at The St. Regis Bali Resort from July through September. Performance schedules, culinary collaborations and reservations should be confirmed directly with the resort before visiting.
