Royalton Hotels & Resorts has reopened its complete Jamaica portfolio, returning five all-inclusive properties in Negril and the Montego Bay area to operation following extensive renovations.
The three Negril resorts—Royalton Negril, Royalton Hideaway Negril and Grand Lido Negril—welcomed guests back on August 25, 2026. Royalton Blue Waters and Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters followed on September 15, completing the company’s phased return to Jamaica.
The reopenings represent another step in Jamaica’s tourism recovery following Hurricane Melissa, which caused widespread damage across the island in October 2025. Royalton used the extended closures to redesign accommodations, refresh public spaces and upgrade infrastructure across its Jamaican properties.
For travelers, the five resorts provide distinctly different experiences, ranging from activity-filled family vacations to adults-only retreats and a secluded naturist resort.
Redesigned Rooms and Updated Technology

During the closures, parts of the resorts’ infrastructure were also used to assist nearby communities with emergency water and electricity needs as recovery work continued.
