Aman’s approach to travel—intimate spaces, thoughtful design and time to settle into a destination—is heading for the Caribbean. The brand has unveiled the complete inaugural Caribbean season for Amangati, its forthcoming luxury motor yacht, with voyages running from November 21, 2027, through March 20, 2028.
The announcement adds 12 winter journeys of five to eight nights to the previously revealed autumn itineraries. Together, the sailings connect the harbors, volcanic islands and sheltered cays of the Antilles, with routes extending from the British Virgin Islands to the southern Caribbean and west to the Dominican Republic.
For travelers, the appeal lies as much in the pace as the ports. Late departures, overnight calls and a preference for anchoring offshore are intended to leave more room for exploring each island, lingering over dinner ashore or spending an afternoon on the water.
A More Intimate Caribbean Cruise
Currently under construction in Genoa, Italy, the 180-meter Amangati is designed to accommodate just 94 guests across 47 ocean-facing suites. Every suite will have a private terrace and full-height windows, making the sea a constant presence throughout the journey.
Designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, the interiors will incorporate eucalyptus and sen woods, travertine and hand-carved glasswork. The materials carry Aman’s restrained aesthetic into a setting where the view changes from one island to the next.
Across nine decks, the yacht will feature four signature restaurants, open-air spaces and an Aman Spa with treatment rooms that each extend onto a private terrace with a whirlpool. A dedicated Suite Host will serve every suite.
The yacht’s Marina will provide direct access to the water while at anchor, with paddleboards, kayaks and other equipment available. Limousine tenders will carry guests ashore, while the vessel’s scale is intended to allow access to secluded anchorages and private island marinas.

Leeward Islands: Small Harbors and Beach Days
Amangati’s Caribbean season will begin in Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, following its first Atlantic crossing.
The opening Leeward Islands voyages will explore the northern arc of the Antilles, combining Gustavia in Saint Barthélemy with Saint Kitts and Nevis, the British Virgin Islands and smaller destinations that lend themselves to a yachting itinerary.
Depending on the sailing, calls will include Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda, Philipsburg in Sint Maarten, Saba and Little Bay in Montserrat. A beach day at Prickly Pear Cay off Anguilla and a dedicated Marina Day at Barbuda will bring time on and beside the water into the itinerary.
Winter sailings will revisit many of these destinations, offering another opportunity to explore this part of the Caribbean between January and March 2028.
Windward Islands: Volcanic Landscapes and Quiet Coves
Sailing from Saint John’s and Bridgetown, Barbados, the Windward Islands itineraries will head south through a landscape of rainforest, volcanic peaks and sheltered bays.
Autumn routes will include Îles des Saintes in Guadeloupe, Portsmouth in Dominica, Anse d’Arlet in Martinique and Soufrière in Saint Lucia, where the Pitons provide one of the Caribbean’s most recognizable backdrops. Calls at Canouan in the Grenadines and Saint George’s in Grenada will extend the journey farther south.
The winter program will introduce additional stops, including Saint-Pierre in Martinique, Marie-Galante in Guadeloupe and Bequia in the Grenadines.
These itineraries offer a varied perspective on the region: black-sand beaches and volcanic slopes in Martinique, quieter island communities in Guadeloupe and tranquil coves in the Grenadines. Returning calls at Dominica, Saint Lucia and Canouan will connect those discoveries with some of the season’s established destinations.
The ABC Islands and Southern Caribbean
The Dutch Caribbean voyages will focus on Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, with departures from Bridgetown and Oranjestad.
Here, the scenery shifts from the green volcanic islands farther north to the southern Caribbean’s beaches, coral gardens and colorful waterfronts. Planned calls include Willemstad in Curaçao and Kralendijk in Bonaire, alongside destinations such as the Tobago Cays in the Grenadines and Saint George’s in Grenada.
For travelers drawn to time on the water, the combination of island harbors, reef environments and offshore anchorages makes this a particularly appealing part of the program.
New Winter Voyages to the Dominican Republic
The winter schedule will also take Amangati west into the Greater Antilles, introducing the Dominican Republic to the yacht’s Caribbean season.
January voyages will connect Philipsburg and the British Virgin Islands with Samaná, Cap Cana and La Romana. The route brings a different mix of landscapes into the program, from sheltered coastline to beaches, golf courses and lush inland scenery.
Across the Caribbean season, Aman plans cultural, culinary and naturalist-led shore experiences, alongside bespoke exploration. Specific excursion details will be announced separately.
For guests traveling over the holidays, the autumn program will conclude with a two-night anchorage in Nevis spanning New Year’s Eve, with a celebration planned at a private resort.
An Atlantic Crossing With Time to Unwind
Before arriving in the Caribbean, Amangati will complete its inaugural Mediterranean season with four final voyages in October and early November 2027. These will travel through destinations in Greece, the Adriatic, Italy, France and Spain before the yacht reaches Málaga.
From there, a 13-night Atlantic Passage will sail via Cádiz and Ponta Delgada in the Azores before arriving in Antigua. Aman is positioning the crossing around wellness and restoration, using the uninterrupted time at sea for guided experiences and a more leisurely onboard routine.
An eastbound crossing will follow the Caribbean season. Departing Saint John’s on March 20, 2028, the 11-night voyage will call at Philipsburg and Gustavia before crossing the Atlantic to Funchal, Madeira, arriving March 31.

Planning an Amangati Caribbean Voyage
Reservations are now open for the complete inaugural Caribbean season, as well as the newly released Mediterranean departures and Atlantic crossings.
With only 47 suites, access to smaller anchorages and itineraries built around longer stays, Amangati offers an intimate way to explore several Caribbean islands in a single journey. The choice comes down to the kind of trip travelers want: beach days in the Leewards, volcanic scenery in the Windwards, the southern reach of the ABC islands or a westward voyage to the Dominican Republic.
Further details and individual itineraries are available through Aman at Sea.
