Ambergris Cay, the ultra-luxury all-inclusive private island resort located in the southeastern Turks and Caicos Islands, announces a significant expansion of its accommodation portfolio with the introduction of 12 new Waterside Bungalows, two new villas, a fully renovated Land’s End villa, and an expanded Dream Estate.
This launch represents one of the resort’s most notable inventory evolutions to date, introducing a new water-forward way to stay while preserving the island’s low-density, privacy-driven development model.
Now booking for summer stays beginning in June 2026, the 12 new Waterside Bungalows introduce a new category of flexible luxury at the water’s edge. The collection includes six one-bedroom and six two-bedroom residences designed for couples, small families, and groups of friends seeking crystal-clear water access and close proximity to the island’s Club House and activity hubs.
Designed around the island’s shoreline, the Waterside Bungalows feature private terraces with heated plunge pools, sun loungers, and shaded seating just steps from the water. Guests can move easily between their terrace and the sea, with complimentary kayaks and paddleboards available for exploration throughout the day.
Offering an intimate island retreat, the Waterside Bungalow features living spaces that open fully to the outdoors, allowing guests to move freely between the interior, terrace, and shoreline while maintaining a continuous connection to the surrounding island environment. At approximately 1,600 square feet, this one-bedroom residence accommodates up to three guests and includes a king bedroom, living area with queen sleeper sofa, wet bar and minibar, outdoor shower and bath, and floor-to-ceiling glass that extends views across the landscape.
Conceived as a residential-style retreat for families or groups traveling together, the Waterside Two-Bedroom Bungalow offers open living areas paired with private sleeping suites that balance time together with personal space. Spanning approximately 2,257 square feet, the residence accommodates up to five guests and includes a primary king suite with ensuite bathroom and outdoor shower, along with a second bedroom with twin beds convertible to a king, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area.
In addition to the new bungalow category, the resort has expanded its villa portfolio with the introduction of two new residences: Olympus, a 5,446-square-foot, four-bedroom beachfront villa designed for direct-to-sand living, distinguished as one of the only villas offering direct beach access from its private pool terrace; and Tidecrest, a 5,780-square-foot, three-bedroom retreat designed for relaxed island living. The resort has also completed a full renovation of Land’s End, 4,660-square-foot, four-bedroom oceanview villa, reimagining the residence and further elevating its prime positioning as an ideal vantage point for seasonal whale watching.
Further expanding its ultra-luxe estate offering, Dream Estate, a 19,337-square-foot villa, now features an additional bedroom, bringing the total to 11 bedrooms and strengthening its appeal for large groups and multi-generational travel and private celebrations. This expansion positions Dream Estate among the largest private residential resort offerings in Turks and Caicos.
“Ambergris Cay continues to attract discerning travelers who value seclusion, direct private air access, and an experience that feels entirely their own,” said Andreas Naegele, Vice President of Hospitality at Waterloo Hotel Management Ltd. “As the island evolves, we’re expanding the ways guests can experience it—from intimate waterside bungalows to expansive private villas and estate-style stays—while preserving the natural beauty and sense of exclusivity that define Ambergris Cay. This thoughtful growth allows us to meet the rising demand among high-net-worth travelers for privacy, space, and tailored private experiences.”
All guests enjoy full access to the island’s all-inclusive amenities, including globally inspired dining, dedicated island hosts, fitness programming, non-motorized water sports, guided excursions, and signature experiences such as beach bonfires and the resort’s floating Hangover Tiki Bar. Seamless arrivals are made possible via one of the longest private runways in the Caribbean, allowing charter aircraft and eligible private jets to land directly at Ambergris Cay International Airport.
The introduction of these new accommodations marks the next chapter in Ambergris Cay’s growth, reinforcing its reputation for rare privacy, elevated design, and distinct ways to experience a private island stay.
