Apres Ski and Nightlife in Tignes

Tignes is a world class ski resort with fantastic snow and a great choice for families. It has a range of fun activities to keep everyone entertained after skiing and a vibrant nightlife to ensure the whole group enjoys their holiday.

The resort borders the Vanoise National Park so there is an abundance of wildlife to see on your winter break in Tignes, from chamois & ibex to eagles and marmots. There are several tours on offer that will allow you to explore the pristine wilderness and take in all the scenery that Tignes has to offer.

For a more relaxed tour, try one of the many walking trails that are available for on-foot adventuring in Tignes. The routes are designed to suit all levels and ages, so there is something for every family. You can also head out on a mountain bike and really get close to the terrain. Tignes has a number of bike hire shops that can arrange this for you.

If you’re looking for a little more action, then there are several bars and clubs that offer an incredible atmosphere at apres ski time. Le Moose in Les Brevieres is a firm favourite with the locals and often has live music playing during the afternoon and evening. The Boot Room is another popular bar in the village that is usually packed to the rafters with thirsty skiers.

There are good selections of restaurants in Tignes, some of which have a Michelin star. The highest rated restaurant in the resort issues in Hotel Les Suites de Nevada which offers an exquisite dining experience and dishes that are a real treat for your taste buds. The majority of restaurants however are aimed at the mid to high price range and offer delicious French cuisine.

During the month of March, Tignes hosts a number of events for holidaymakers and locals to enjoy. European Snow Pride takes place in the resort and provides a week of stunning shows for all to enjoy. The resort also holds a series of concerts for all to attend in the Tignespace auditorium.

Tignes offers a wide variety of bars and clubs with a range of styles and atmospheres. Some of the most popular include The Moose Bar in Les Brevieres which has a lively vibe and live music to enjoy, and Le Lac Le Loop which is a great spot to go to for an incredible line up of acts during your Tignes ski holiday.

Tignes is easy to reach from most of western Europe and has a huge network of busses operating between it and other nearby resorts, as well as private transfers that can drop you right outside your chalet. The road to Tignes can be quite busy during school holidays & weekends, so we recommend travelling by bus if possible to avoid any delays.
