Australia is Open and Invites You to GO BIG!

There is no question about it, Australia is ready and excited to welcome back international travelers. At the recent Australian Tour Exchange (ATE) 100’s of experience operators, hotel and resort properties and all six Australian states were on hand to welcome travel agents and buyer from around the world.

ATE began with the Welcome to Country ceremony. This Aboriginal ceremony officially acknowledges and ‘welcomes’ people (guests) that are not from the area and grant safe passage for the duration of their time in the area, the ceremony delivery may vary from location to location depending on language group, geographically location, cultural belief systems etc however; the standard is that these acknowledgements are delivered by the cultural authority of the local area.

Now it is time to meet the people who really bring Australia to life for the visitors from around the world, the tour operators, hotel and resort staff and of course the national and regional tourism representatives. These people have been busy for the past two year revamping their offerings, renovating properties and adding new infrastructure to make sure your visit to Australia will be nothing less than extraordinary.
