Autumn in Chianti Classico is a season that invites one to slow down. The light turns golden, sunsets tint the hills with shades of red, the air grows crisper, and time flows more gently, like footsteps among vineyard rows changing color. In this setting stands The Club House 5*L, a property designed for adults-only (+14) and inaugurated in spring 2022 following careful restoration. A former Tuscan farmhouse turned into an exclusive retreat, it lives in constant harmony with the landscape, traditions, and flavors that surround it.
THE CLUB HOUSE: TUSCAN HERITAGE WITH A CONTEMPORARY EDGE
Born from the vision of the Bolfo family, The Club House embodies their ongoing commitment to enhancing this corner of Chianti Classico. The project, designed by architect Margherita Gozzi, preserved the soul of the original farmhouse by maintaining authentic materials—stone, terracotta, and wooden beams —harmoniously integrated with nature. From its privileged position, the property overlooks vineyards and olive groves, offering a 360° view that glows with ochre, copper, and red hues in autumn. Within this context take shape the hotel’s 15 rooms: three master suites (Lapina, Boscobruno, Migliorè) and twelve superior rooms, each with its own identity. Terracotta floors, exposed beams, and large windows opening overlooking the Chianti Classico vineyards create warm and refined spaces that reinterpret Tuscan tradition in a contemporary key. From the Superior Bellavista to the Lapina Suite, every room tells a story of harmony between history and modernity.

WHERE FLAVOR MEETS WELLNESS
The essence of The Club House unfolds through an experience that weaves together cuisine, wellness, and experiences tied to the land. The kitchen is led by Daniele Canella, executive chef of the two restaurants under the Fontanelle Estate brand. Il Visibilio, a fine-dining restaurant with only 12 seats and one Michelin star, offers a blind-tasting menu that celebrates seasonality and invites guests on a sensory journey guided by aromas and emotions. Next to this intimate experience, Osteria Il Tuscanico is represents the resort’s convivial heart. Its new autumn menu, designed to highlight seasonal products, tells the story of the most authentic Tuscany through dishes that balance simplicity and sophistication. Among the highlights, pappardelle with wild boar, duck breast in dolce forte sauce, and borlotti bean cream with ditalini pasta recall the flavors and atmospheres of Tuscan farmhouses, reinterpreted with balance and contemporary sensibility. As the air grows cooler, guests find refuge in The Wellness Sanctuary, a 400-square-meter haven of tranquility featuring a sauna, tepidarium, Turkish bath, pools, yoga studio, and personalized treatments. Flooded with natural light and open to the landscape, the spa preserves a seamless connection with the Chianti Classico countryside.
As autumn paints the Chianti hills in shades of gold and crimson, The Club House offers more than a stay—it offers a way of life rooted in Tuscan authenticity and refined comfort. Between leisurely walks through vineyards, restorative spa rituals, and evenings spent savoring local cuisine under a copper sunset, guests discover the timeless rhythm of Chianti Classico. Here, every detail speaks the language of harmony—between land and light, tradition and innovation, body and soul.
