Avianca Adds New U.S. Routes and Increases Flights for Summer 2026

Avianca is enhancing its U.S. network for Summer 2026 with a significant increase in weekly flight frequencies, providing travelers with more flexibility, enhanced connectivity, and convenient options for both business and leisure trips.

Compared with July 2025, Avianca will add 42 additional weekly flights across multiple U.S. routes. As part of this expansion, the airline will resume seasonal routes such as Miami–Cali, New York–Pereira, Orlando–Medellín, Las Vegas–San Salvador, and Chicago–San Salvador. In addition, Avianca will launch a new route in June connecting San Francisco with Guatemala City.

This expansion reflects the airline’s commitment to meeting growing demand and strengthening connectivity between the U.S. and Colombia, Ecuador, and Central America, with a focus on the upcoming soccer competition.

“This summer, Avianca is taking the U.S. network to the next level by adding more flights on high-demand routes, giving travelers unprecedented flexibility and access to Latin America,” said Rolando Damas, Avianca’s director of sales for North America “Our goal is to make nonstop travel seamless and convenient, connecting passengers to the region’s most vibrant destinations with the reliability and service they expect from Avianca,”
