Starting this December, Avianca’s new Business Class Americas, available on single-aisle Airbus A320 aircraft, will be extended to 23 additional routes, complementing the 11 that have been in operation since mid-year. This will bring the total to 34 routes offering this service within the continent.
This option includes access to seats in the first three rows of the plane, offering greater recline, more space, adjustable headrests, charging ports, and other comfort features. Additionally, passengers will enjoy complimentary meals, beverages, and access to Avianca’s on-board entertainment system, Avianca On Air, from their personal devices.
The Business Class experience is also available on flights operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, on select frequencies between Bogotá and New York (JFK), Miami, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Santiago de Chile.
“The expansion of Business Class availability across the Americas strengthens the positioning of this experience, which is built on a commitment to delivering high-quality service in every detail, offering exceptional journeys. An example of this is the inclusion of comfort features and a menu, which on most flights departing from Bogotá has been designed by renowned Colombian chef Álvaro Clavijo, recognized as one of the best in the world,” commented Catalina Nannig, Avianca’s Vice President of Sales.
The new Business Class Americas also includes:
Menu: On-board service includes lunch, dinner, breakfast, or snacks—depending on the flight duration—along with dessert, and hot or cold beverages.
Tailored baggage: Includes one personal item, one 10 kg carry-on bag, and two checked bags of up to 32 kg each.
Other benefits: Flight changes and refunds before departure, priority services (check-in, counter service, and boarding), access to Avianca Lounges (including Star Alliance partner lounges), and LifeMiles accumulation (7 miles per dollar spent).
