Guests of Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora arrive and depart aboard one of the Resort’s custom-crafted Andreyale Bateux Taxi (taxi boats). Sitting aboard these magnificent vessels, they take in the sights of the island on a stunning 20-minute cruise to the Resort, across the turquoise lagoon, and around majestic Mount Otemanu.
Named Heinoanoa, Leana, Poeiti, and Vaihani, these yachts were inspired by the commuter boats of New York City of the 1920’s, used to transport Wall Street executives from their homes in Long Island to the Manhattan Financial District.
They feature woodwork and decking of dark mahogany and teak, with crème coloured seating and accents of stainless steel. Designed by architectural firm Joubert-Nivelt at the Saint-Martin de Ré yard of Latitude 46 Classic Yachts in Isle de Ré, France, these taxi boats provide the most spectacular welcome to the turquoise lagoon and striking geography of Bora Bora.

Once ashore, guests find themselves immersed in the secluded luxury of Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora. Nestled on a private motu with panoramic views of Mount Otemanu, the resort blends Polynesian architecture with modern design in spacious overwater bungalows and beachfront villas. Lush tropical landscaping, crystal-clear waters, and white-sand beaches set the tone for relaxation, while thoughtful service ensures every detail is effortless.
Whether enjoying a sunset from a private plunge pool, snorkeling through vibrant coral gardens, or indulging in a treatment at the overwater spa, every experience at the Resort is shaped by its extraordinary setting. The journey aboard the elegant taxi boats is just the beginning—what follows is a stay that’s equal parts serene escape and unforgettable adventure.
