BESPOKE – a new boutique luxury residence open in Tulum’s Tankah Bay

Namron Hospitality, a locally-rooted collection of boutique luxury Mexican hotels and restaurants in Tulum, Mexico City, and San Miguel de Allende, has announced the opening of its eighth property – BESPOKE – this month.

Set in the secluded Tankah Bay, just 10 miles north of Tulum on Mexico’s Caribbean coast, BESPOKE is a new collection of 22 spacious, sophisticated, design-led residences presenting guests with an authentic Caribbean living experience. Offering thoughtfully curated spaces, BESPOKE’s concept fosters privacy and comfort, with villas and apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms, each host to its own living room and kitchen along with luxury communal amenities, for a best-of-both home and hotel experience.

BESPOKE is surrounded by luscious jungle on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other, the residences sit on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Riviera Maya, providing an oasis away from the crowds of Tulum, and an enclave of calm water and low winds. The property’s original structure was known as ‘The Castle’ and its striking redesign was conceptualised by Mexican firm Muro Rojo Arquitectura, whose distinctive style can be seen throughout various hotels, restaurants and commercial properties across the country.

The meticulous, forward-thinking design of BESPOKE blends contemporary vertical shapes and a natural aesthetic, with subdued, earth-toned spaces that tie in local flora and nature in a soothing array of greens. The residences are modern with bohemian touches typical to the region, and adorned with a collection of furniture pieces, textiles, objets d’art, and locally sourced materials, highlighting the exceptional craftsmanship of Mexican artisans and creating an inviting atmosphere that mirrors the warmth and comfort of home.

As well as the residences, guests can come together in various curated communal spaces, including an expansive terrace, a private beach club with infinity pool overlooking the ocean, various lounge spaces, a gym suite, spa, and modern Mexican restaurant, Icaro.

In line with the rest of the Namron Hospitality collection, BESPOKE will invite guests to sign the Tulum Pledge as a promise to leave Tulum even better than they found it. The hotel’s spaces are designed to foster a connection between guests and their natural surroundings, with single-use plastics prohibited, waste composted or recycled where possible and the provision o eco-friendly toiletries, repellent, and reef-friendly sunscreen.
