Following the Giro d’Italia’s spectacular stage through Sestriere on 31 May, cycling fanatics will enjoy following in the cycle tracks of the greats, with routes for every ability meaning that everyone from seasoned riders to keen adventurers can discover Vialattea on two wheels.
Journey through Vialattea’s scenic and cultural trails
For those who prefer to explore on foot, Vialattea’s extensive network of hiking trails offers a range of experiences, from gentle walks to challenging climbs reaching up to 3,000 metres in altitude. Along the way, visitors will discover ancient fortifications, historic monuments, mountain churches, and charming chalets, blending natural beauty with rich Alpine heritage. Guided itineraries are available through local tourism boards, ideal for travellers looking to fully immerse themselves in the traditions and beauty of their mountainous surroundings.
Tee off at one of Europe’s highest courses
From 21 June, golf returns to the mountains with the reopening of the Sestrieres Golf Club – an 18-hole par 65 course set at 2,035 metres, making it one of the highest in Europe. Whether refining your technique with expert-led lessons or enjoying a relaxed round in the crisp mountain air, the panoramic Alpine views ensure every moment on the course is unforgettable.
A new season pass for endless summer experiences
Enhancing the summer 2025 experience, Vialattea is introducing a new joint lift pass with Bardonecchia as part of a continued collaboration between the two resorts to improve access to the mountains, offering the perfect way to unlock even more Alpine adventures across the region. Priced at 190€ per person, the pass offers seamless access to both resorts’ lift networks throughout the season.
