While other destinations offer seasonal pool options, the Vegas pool scene is making waves throughout the year with new resort offerings, renovations to others and favorites visitors love coming back to.
Las Vegas resorts are known for their spectacular resort pools, with sparkling blue waters surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and the towering cityscape. Dayclubs—party-focused pools akin to the evening’s nightclubs—continue to be a staple of the city’s entertainment landscape, offering new DJ lineups, themed parties, events and more.
Enjoying over 320 days of sunshine each year, Las Vegas is the perfect poolside destination. While most of the U.S. only enjoys pool season for a few months of the year, visitors can be poolside in Vegas throughout all 12 months. Many resorts keep their amenities open year-round and some dayclubs implement heated domes around their offerings to stay open during the winter months.
Resort Pools
A destination filled with world-class resorts means visitors have their pick of a stellar place to stay with the most spectacular pool options a traveler could ask for. Here are the latest updates to the ever-evolving pool scene in Las Vegas.
The latest off-Strip resort to open in Las Vegas is set to debut its enchanting and beautifully landscaped pool area on Monday, March 11. Clocking in at more than 65,000 square feet, its centerpiece is a 7,200-square-foot pool complete with a water feature. Cabanas, daybeds and lily pads over the water are offered for extra luxurious lounging, while two poolside bars keep the drinks flowing.
Just in time for the fabulous Vegas spring weather, the Strip’s shiny new resort has unveiled its poolside sanctuary. Inspired by the brand’s original home of Miami Beach, the space offers a playful ambiance throughout seven pool experiences across six impeccably designed acres. Four bars, two restaurants and a brand-new beach club complete the multifaceted complex.
Virgin Hotels Las Vegas has refreshed its resort pool for the upcoming season. The upscale and tropical oasis opens Saturday, March 16 and features luxurious cabanas, food and beverage options, pool-side services from The Spa and a beach-like atmosphere.
Dayclubs
Sometimes splashing to the sounds of a DJ is just as important as a relaxing visit to the resort pool. Dayclubs throughout the destination keep the energy up with fantastic DJs and fun elements—here’s a taste.
In addition to the hotel’s recently opened resort pools, Fontainebleau also debuted the Strip’s latest dayclub. Inspired by the French Riviera, the upscale space offers a spot to splash under the sun to the beats of artists such as Calvin Harris, Tiësto and John Summit. Upgraded cabanas and daybed seatings are available, but the party will be great no matter where you end up.
One of the more recent additions to the dayclub landscape, this spot transports visitors to the islands of Southeast Asia with its stunning décor and ambiance. Opening day is March 15 and its season features DJ sets and performances from the likes of Duke Dumont, Kaskade and T-Pain.
This hot spot—one of the original dayclubs in Las Vegas—emerged anew just a couple summer seasons back with a refreshed look and even better programming than the great performances visitors enjoyed for years. It’s just as sparkling, just as entertaining—Fisher, SOFI TUKKER and Nelly are just a few upcoming acts to headline—and its season just started Friday.
