Fairmont Pacific Rim Unveils Reimagined Luxury Spa in Vancouver

Fairmont Pacific Rim has unveiled a newly renovated Fairmont Spa, introducing an expanded wellness destination that brings treatments, fitness, beauty and outdoor relaxation together on the fifth floor of the downtown Vancouver hotel.

The transformation is part of the hotel’s broader approach to integrated wellness. Rather than treating the spa as a standalone amenity, Fairmont Pacific Rim has connected it with the Fairmont Pacific Rim Wellness Club x HOUSE Concepts, creating an experience that moves between exercise, recovery and relaxation.

A New Spa Designed for Restoration

The reimagined Fairmont Spa now features 14 treatment rooms, including two rooms equipped with Dream Spa Specialty treatment tables. These innovative tables are designed to support a range of therapeutic treatments while helping guests relax in a comfortable, almost weightless position.

The renovation also introduces a Himalayan salt sauna, steam room, private women’s lounge and co-ed relaxation lounge.

Together, these facilities create several ways for guests to prepare for or extend a treatment. Heat therapy can help the body unwind, while the relaxation lounges provide quieter spaces to rest before returning to the city.

The spa’s approach places greater emphasis on technical therapies and treatments intended to produce noticeable results. Its menu combines performance-focused massage with advanced facial treatments and restorative rituals.

An Outdoor Spa Terrace Above Vancouver

One of the most appealing parts of the new spa is its expansive outdoor terrace.

The terrace includes a mineral wellness Jacuzzi, dry sauna, fire pits and relaxation loungers. Its open-air setting allows guests to enjoy the restorative benefits of heat and water while surrounded by Vancouver’s coastal atmosphere.

The outdoor facilities complement the spa’s indoor thermal spaces, making it possible to create a longer wellness circuit rather than visiting solely for a massage or facial.

Fairmont Pacific Rim has previously experimented with outdoor thermal experiences through its seasonal Nordic Spa. DRIFT Travel explored that concept in Fairmont Pacific Rim Welcomes Back the Nordic Spa.

Fitness and Recovery in One Destination

Alongside the spa, the renovated Fairmont Pacific Rim Wellness Club x HOUSE Concepts provides a more active side to the hotel’s wellness program.

Guests can participate in daily LAB fitness classes, schedule private personal training sessions or arrange customized programming with trainers from HOUSE Concepts.

The connection between the two spaces is designed to make recovery part of the fitness experience. A guest might begin with a guided workout before moving into the sauna, mineral Jacuzzi or a targeted massage. Others may choose a gentler combination of movement, spa therapy and time on the outdoor terrace.

This flexibility reflects a broader change in wellness travel. Hotel spas increasingly combine traditional relaxation with exercise, recovery, sleep support and treatments tailored to individual goals.

Treatments with a Results-Focused Approach

The spa’s treatment philosophy centers on what Fairmont describes as intentional restoration. Although relaxation remains an important part of the experience, therapies are also designed to address concerns such as muscular tension, tired skin and physical recovery.

The treatment menu includes massage experiences, body therapies and advanced facials. Some rituals incorporate techniques and sensory elements such as heated Himalayan salt stones, dry brushing, warm oils, aromatherapy and sound.

Guests can also follow the Fairmont Spa Circuit, a sequence of heat therapy, mineral bathing and rest intended to prepare the body before a treatment. The circuit combines the spa’s steam and sauna facilities with mineral water and quiet relaxation areas.

A renewed retail area carries high-performance skincare, luxury haircare, resort wear and HOUSE i.D athleisure, allowing guests to continue parts of their wellness or beauty routine after leaving the spa.

Wish Dry Bar Adds Hair and Beauty Services

Wish Dry Bar is also located within Fairmont Spa, adding hair and makeup services to the fifth-floor wellness destination.

The luxury hair boutique offers professional blowouts, customized hair treatments, styling and makeup. Services are available for everyday appointments as well as weddings, special events and photoshoots.

Hotel guests can also arrange in-room styling, providing a convenient option for travelers preparing for a wedding, business function or evening out in Vancouver.

By placing Wish Dry Bar inside the spa, Fairmont Pacific Rim brings beauty and wellness services together in one location rather than separating them across the hotel.

A Wellness Destination for Travelers and Vancouver Locals

Fairmont Pacific Rim occupies a prominent location near Vancouver’s waterfront, with views of the harbor, mountains and Stanley Park. The hotel is known for its contemporary design, art collection, dining experiences and resort-style amenities in the center of the city.

The renovated spa builds on those urban-resort qualities. Travelers can incorporate a treatment or workout into an overnight stay, while Vancouver residents can visit the spa independently for a restorative break without leaving the city.

With its expanded treatment facilities, indoor thermal spaces, outdoor terrace, fitness programming and beauty services, the new Fairmont Spa offers a more complete interpretation of hotel wellness.

The result is a destination designed not only for an occasional treatment, but for a personalized sequence of movement, recovery and relaxation in the heart of Vancouver.

More information and the current treatment menu are available through the Fairmont Pacific Rim Spa.
