FFOREST Launches Supper Series Summer 2026 in West Wales

Following the sellout success of last summer’s BRAT/Tomos Parry takeover, FFOREST in West Wales is returning with an exciting new Supper Series for Summer 2026—a celebration of British culinary talent, Welsh produce, and immersive countryside dining.

Set against the wild beauty of the Cardigan coastline, FFOREST has long been a haven for creatives, slow-living enthusiasts, and those seeking something a little off the beaten path. Now, it’s firmly on the culinary map, thanks to a growing wave of chefs, artisans, and cultural energy transforming this bohemian, surf-laced corner of Wales into one of the UK’s most compelling food destinations.

A Supper Series Rooted in Fire, Place & Community

What began as intimate gatherings for friends in FFOREST’s cosy Cedar Barn has evolved into a sought-after ticketed series. The concept remains refreshingly simple: exceptional chefs, open-fire cooking, and locally sourced ingredients, all enjoyed in a relaxed, communal setting.

For 2026, FFOREST is expanding its reach—inviting standout chefs from across Britain to bring their own style and interpretation to the coals, while continuing to champion the rich bounty of Welsh land and sea.

The series runs from mid-April through late September, with additional chef announcements expected in the coming months.

Opening Weekend: Ben Allen’s Spring Feast

Kicking off the season is Ben Allen, Head Chef of The Parakeet in Kentish Town, who will host the Spring Feast from April 10–12.

Guests can expect a six-course fire-cooked menu, showcasing the best of the region—fresh meat, seafood, and seasonal vegetables—paired with biodynamic wines from Wrights Food Emporium. The experience goes beyond the plate, with collaborations featuring local cheesemakers, fishermen, and craft brewers, adding depth and authenticity to the weekend.

Allen’s culinary pedigree includes training at Four Seasons, time at Pearl Restaurant at The Westbury, experience at Vienna’s acclaimed Steirereck, and a stint at BRAT—bringing a refined yet ingredient-driven approach that perfectly suits FFOREST’s ethos.

A Weekend Experience, Not Just a Meal

The FFOREST Supper Series is designed as a full escape rather than a single evening event. Guests can book a weekend package that includes accommodation at the much-loved Fforest Farm or the nearby Albion Hotel in Cardigan.

On-site, visitors can also enjoy cocktails at what is charmingly known as the smallest pub in Wales, adding another layer of character to the experience.

A Cultural Gathering in the Welsh Countryside

Beyond the food, what sets FFOREST apart is its atmosphere. Past supper series events have drawn an eclectic mix of guests—from local creatives to international names like designer Rejina Pyo and even members of Duran Duran—creating a unique blend of community and culture.

It’s this balance of Welsh warmth, world-class cooking, and thoughtful hospitality that continues to define FFOREST’s appeal.

A New Culinary Destination in Wales

For too long, Wales has been overlooked on the global food stage. FFOREST is helping to change that narrative—one fire-cooked feast at a time.

With its Summer 2026 Supper Series, it offers something increasingly rare: a chance to slow down, gather around the table, and experience food in its most elemental and meaningful form.
