Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos, the destination’s newest adults-only boutique hotel that debuted earlier this month to travelers, introduces an exclusive five-day, four-night Land & Sea Romance Getaway for couples seeking a blend of luxury, intimacy, and cultural immersion. Nestled between the desert and blue waters of the Sea of Cortez, the experience includes a private yacht for the day to visit the Cabo’s Lovers Beach, destination-inspired couples spa treatments, private tequila tasting, tasting menu from two Michelin star chef Sidney Schutte, dining experience highlighting recipes inspired by those famed Mexican artist Frida Khalo made for her lover Diego Riviera, and more. Accommodations will be in one of Grand Velas Boutique’s 1,900 sq. ft. Grand Class Suites with both indoor space and airy outdoor terrace with plunge pool and fire pit.
Day One – Warm Welcome to Paradise
Arrival day sets the tone with a seamless airport transfer and check-in experience. The evening is reserved for an intimate dining experience at Loto, where the essence of Japanese cuisine meets the finest meats, local seafood and vegetables on the traditional robata grill, a slow-cooking method over an open fire.
Day Two – Spa Ritual & Private Dinner
The day begins with breakfast at leisure and time to relax by the hotel’s oceanfront botanical-inspired infinity pool. After lunch, couples head next door to SE Spa at sister property Grand Velas Los Cabos for a grand spa day. The experience begins with a choice of treatments rooted in Mexican tradition. Options include the 80-minute Tequila Massage, Ancestral Stone Massage, or the Healing Samunprai Massage, seamlessly blending relaxation and detoxification through hot herbal compresses. Following, an 80-minute facial, manicure and pedicure, and a 30-minute exfoliation session await, leaving guests with a renewed sense of well-being and radiance. That evening, the couple will return to the suite romantically set with chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of Moet. Following, the couple will enjoy a four-course dinner on their private balcony featuring a live violinist or saxophone player to close out the evening.
Day Three – Luxury Breakfast-in-Bed & Ocean Adventure
Breakfast in bed kicks the day off with a menu featuring Lobster Benedict, Mini Gaufres Garnis (vanilla waffles), Goat Cheese Omelet, and more. After breakfast, the couple will step aboard the hotel’s 55-foot Azimut Yacht for a private sail to the famous Cabo arches and Playa del Amor. The couple will enjoy a morning at leisure before discovering the flavors of Mexico in a deluxe tequila tasting. Under the guidance of the hotel’s tequila experts, the full tasting experience includes learning about the history and process of the spirit, while identifying aromas, flavors, and characteristics that make each one unique. Following, dinner at Grand Velas Los Cabos’ Frida restaurant pays tribute to the revolutionary soul of famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. The epicurean culture of Mexico comes to life with gourmet specialties that adhere to the most representative dishes of the country with a contemporary twist, including some takes on recipes she made for her famed lover Diego Rivera.
Day Five – Departure
Following the romantic getaway, guests check out of Grand Velas Boutique and return to the airport in a private transfer provided by the hotel.
