): In collaboration with luxury champagne brand Veuve Clicquot, Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman, the island’s newest upscale lifestyle hotel, is excited to announce the launch of the exclusive Veuve Clicquot Sun Club experience at Bata Bar. Opening on November 29, 2024, this will be the first-ever Veuve Clicquot Sun Club in the Caribbean, bringing an unparalleled, sun-soaked escape to both guests and local residents. The Sun Club will launch with a six-week program, with plans to evolve into a recurring fixture, offering a stylish and unforgettable atmosphere for enjoying the world-renowned Veuve Clicquot champagne.
The Sun Club experience is centered around Bata Bar, the resort’s lively poolside bar and restaurant, which has been transformed into a stunning, Instagram-worthy venue featuring Veuve Clicquot-branded décor, a photo wall, and chic signage. Guests will feel transported to the sun-drenched glamour of the French Riviera while enjoying a perfect view of the legendary Seven Mile Beach.
Veuve Clicquot’s signature Sun Club concept has captivated champagne enthusiasts at locations in Saint-Tropez, Ibiza, and Mykonos, and now, it’s making its Caribbean debut. The Sun Club is an exclusive haven for savoring Veuve Clicquot’s RICH and RICH Rosé cuvées, served ice-cold or on the rocks, complemented by curated gourmet bites designed by Chef Andrea Gaia.
“The Sun Club at Bata Bar is an exciting addition to the Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman experience,” said Paloma Martinez, General Manager of the resort. “This collaboration with Veuve Clicquot brings the best of both worlds—combining the effortless elegance of the French Riviera with the unique beauty of the Cayman Islands. It’s an experience we’re thrilled to share with both our guests and the local community.”
Guests can look forward to an exceptional selection of gourmet bites to accompany the champagne offerings, including the upcoming Rich Lobster Roll and Chicken & Champagne Waffles, carefully designed to enhance the flavors of the bubbly. As the program progresses, the menu will expand to feature Caribbean Champagne Macerated Fruits and a Rich Turkey Smashed Burger—each perfectly paired with a glass or bottle of Veuve Clicquot’s finest.
To kick off the celebration, the resort will host a lively launch party on November 30th, featuring an upbeat atmosphere with a DJ, setting the tone for an exciting season of fun, friends, and champagne. The Sun Club is open to both hotel guests and local residents, though the poolside area remains exclusive to guests of the resort.
