Ibiza Gran Hotel is celebrated as the premier independent luxury hotel in Ibiza, distinguished by its dedication to exceptional service, world-class dining, and sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere. The hotel offers a unique cultural immersion by showcasing contemporary Spanish art throughout its public spaces and exclusive programming such as diving with a National Geographic underwater photographer. In 2025, guests will experience a reimagined culinary journey at its Michelin-starred flagship restaurant, La Gaia by Óscar Molina, complemented by the debut of Musa, a new bar serving curated cocktails and lighter fare.
NEW Michelin-star Dining Experience for 2025| A new era of La Gaia by Óscar Molina will be unveiled with the hotel’s anticipated season opening in April 2025. Helmed by renowned Spanish firm Sandra Tarruella Studios, the new space is inspired by traditional Ibizan design, with organic shapes, neutral colors, vaulted ceilings and thick lime-plaster arches. Natural stone, large hanging lamps and sculptural wooden tables harmonize with the restaurant’s central theme. The space will be complemented by new menus highlighting creative and modern cuisine inspired by Ibizan tradition and local Mediterranean ingredients. The new Musa Bar will maintain a cohesive aesthetic with additional touches of brass and a series of photographs that capture life on the island in the 1970s by Tony Keeler. The bar offers an informal dining setting for guests seeking smaller bites and bespoke cocktails.
Design evolution | The hotel’s striking five-story lobby will also undergo a complete renovation, uniting all surrounding spaces with its clean, minimalist design and carefully curated focal points. The redesign will include new large-scale artwork, including a sculpture by Mallorcan artist Joan Costa. In addition, several newly renovated guest showrooms will debut in early 2025 with custom-designed furniture and unique art.
Wellness Sanctuary | A newly reimagined 14,000-square-foot Open Spa experience made its debut at the hotel last season as one of the most extensive wellness retreats on the island. The Open Spa is home to open-air terrace treatment rooms and one of the only water circuits on the island featuring heated whirlpool baths, mist and contrast showers (for anyone who needs to take an emotional shower), ice lounge, hammam, sauna and more. Curated wellness journeys allow guests to schedule guided hikes across the island, personal training, nutrition plans and more.
