After six years of closure and extensive renovations, Monaco’s iconic Exotic Garden is set to reopen, welcoming Monegasques and residents on March 29 and the public on March 30, 2026.
Perched high above the Mediterranean, the Jardin Exotique is one of Monaco’s most unique outdoor experiences, known for its dramatic cliffside setting, sweeping views, and rare collection of succulents and exotic plants from around the world.
The long-awaited reopening follows significant restoration and safety works, including stabilization of the rock faces, redesigned pathways, and overall enhancements to improve accessibility and the visitor experience. The site will also introduce updated amenities, including a new visitor area and refreshed spaces that bring a more modern, curated feel to this historic garden, originally opened in 1933.
Beyond the garden itself, the reopening adds to a wave of new developments across Monaco, from the recent renovation of Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo to the debut of the Mareterra eco-district, as well as the ongoing renovation of La Condamine Market and the Principality’s thriving culinary scene anchored by Michelin-starred dining.
