Mother Earth has taken over Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa for seven days in celebration of Earth Day! Located on Grand Cayman’s legendary Seven Mile Beach, the resort has rolled out a week-long Earth Day celebration with special elements all through the property from April 19th – 25th, featuring various complimentary events and very special dinner event.
Mother Nature moved into an Ocean Front Suite (she’s got great taste) for the duration of the week. Guests were invited to pay her a visit and experience a tropical takeover complete with over one hundred plants, flowers and herbs.
Take a picture in the tub, surrounded by flora, or on the bed, nestled amongst the greenery – a literal Instagram haven to be enjoyed. Additionally, guests can meet a plant doctor, stargaze from the balcony and enjoy a cocktail in all this floral splendor.
To make the experience real for all who could not be there in person, the resort has created a 3D Virtual Tour of the space, as well as enjoy the carefully curated ‘Green Room’ playlist available on Spotify and Youtube. Not to be limited to just one Earth Day, Seafire has been celebrating Earth Week – their spectacular events include the Back 2 Roots Dinner, which will include a four-course menu prepared by Executive Chef, Massimo De Francesca, using ingredients from local farmers. Other events include a Farmer’s Market on property, a Turtle Release from Cayman Islands Turtle Center on Seafire’s beach and a Bush Medicine Tea Tasting led by expert Hannah Reid of ‘Bush Girl Medicine’.
