Today, CordeValle, the Northern California luxury retreat located in San Martin, announced the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art 8,000 square-foot Pickleball facility, lounge, and training space. This exclusive outdoor facility adds eight pickleball courts to round out the four existing Plexicushion tennis tournament courts, two crushed oyster shell Bocce courts, a viewing area, lounge, outdoor patio, and entertainment space for members and guests.

The courts will also feature hands-on personal training and one-on-one group lessons for members and guests led by CordeValle’s Director of Tennis and Pickleball, Benjy Robins. Robins is an NCAA Academic All-American, playing on the professional tour for three years and then spending 11 years with the men’s ATP Tour, where he held the positions of Tour Manager, Director of Player Services, and Head Teaching Clinician. Switching gears, Robins also served as the National Promotions Director for Adidas Tennis. In addition to teaching at several prestigious California tennis clubs, Robbins also coached several top 20 ATP and WTA players.
Capitalizing on the sport’s popularity over the last few years, the latest expansion was thoughtfully designed to match the resort’s high standards. The expansion also comes at a period of growth and celebration, as the property recently celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2024.
CordeValle also recently unveiled a multi-million-dollar renovation across the 1,700-acre resort including its luxurious guest rooms and award-winning Robert Trent Jones Jr. golf course. Timed to the renovation, CordeValle also unveiled a reconceptualized culinary program led by Executive Chef Nicola Cavicchini that combines Northern California flavors with Italian influences.
