Norrøna Adventure Joins Forces with Top Outdoor Brands for Immersive Festivals

Norrøna Adventure, the destination division of the Norwegian outdoor brand, has revealed its 2026 festival lineup, spanning ice climbing, freeriding, mountain biking and trail running across France and the brand’s home, Norway.

The heritage brand is investing in these festivals to deliver on its commitment to community and the 360-degree outdoor experience. The events connect adventurers with Norrøna ambassadors and expert guides, putting Norrøna gear to the test. Attendees cultivate skill mastery and community in iconic adventure locations.

Norrøna Ice Festival | 12th-15th February 2026 | Rjukan, Telemark, Norway

A four-day event where climbing enthusiasts experience the unique world of ice climbing. Hosted in Rjukan, a world-class destination for ice climbing with over 150 icefalls. 

  • Activity Highlight: Ice climbing and ski touring led by Norrøna ambassadors and local guides, speed climbing competitions, inspiring presentations, tech talks, and more.
  • Clinics: Beginner, intermediate, advanced, rescue, touring.
  • Partnership: Proudly presented by Norrøna with Scarpa and Petzl as partners, participants will have the chance to test top-tier gear in the field.
  • Social & Amenities: Social gatherings, 3-course and BBQ dinners, live music concert.

Norrøna x Gore-Tex Freeride Festival | 19th-22nd March 2026 | Chamonix, France

Norrøna and Gore-Tex welcome ski enthusiasts to three days of world-class freeriding and expert-guided backcountry skiing. This immersive festival builds confidence and skills in the heart of the French Alps.

  • Activity Highlight: Freeriding and ski touring, including the iconic Vallée Blanche descent from Aiguille du Midi. Inspiring presentations and talks from icons like Chris Davenport.
  • Clinics: Various freeride clinics (steep skiing, lift-based backcountry freestyle) and all-new specialized girls only and avalanche awareness sessions.
  • Partnership: Presented by Norrøna and Gore-Tex. Participants can test the latest technical products in extreme alpine conditions.

Norrøna x Specialized Mountain Bike Festival | 14th-16th May 2026 | Telemark, Norway 

This three-day festival is an ultimate mountain biking adventure at the off-grid paradise, Norrøna Canvas. The high-energy gathering focuses on skill mastery and community immersion in the rugged Telemark wilderness.

  • Activity Highlight: Guided rides led by expert guides and Norrøna Ambassadors; Guided tours for all levels, from beginner to expert; Specialized clinics on riding techniques, maintenance, and injury prevention, insightful talks, and more.

Norrøna x Nnormal Trail Running Festival | 7th-9th August 2026 | Telemark, Norway 

This three-day event is a deep immersion into the world of trail running at Norrøna Canvas. The festival blends high-performance training with holistic recovery.

  • Activity Highlight: Guided runs with expert trail runners, trail running clinics, nutrition talks, and morning yoga sessions to enhance recovery and flexibility.

  • Clinics: Trail running clinics focused on technique and performance.
