Seattle Hotel Debuts Aviation-Inspired Travel Package

Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport, an upscale resort-style hotel on the scenic shores of Lake Washington, introduces the “Hangar Hideaway” package, a new aviation-inspired offering designed to connect guests with one of the region’s most iconic industries. Located just 11 miles from the Museum of Flight and just steps from the Boeing Renton Factory, the hotel invites travelers to immerse themselves in the excitement of air travel while enjoying a relaxing waterfront retreat.

“Our location and setting allow us to offer guests a truly one-of-a-kind aviation experience,” said Tayna Zasada, Director of Sales, Events and Marketing at Hyatt Regency Lake Washington. “The ‘Hangar Hideaway’ package was created to give travelers an opportunity to explore Seattle’s rich aviation history while enjoying the comfort and elevated amenities of our gorgeous lakeside property.”

When travelers book this exclusive offer, they will enjoy a spacious lakeview guestroom. From several unique rooms, guests can regularly see newly constructed planes before they take their maiden flight from the Boeing Renton Factory. The experience also includes admission to the Museum of Flight for each registered hotel guest, up to four total. At the museum, guests can explore an expansive collection of aircraft and spacecraft alongside immersive exhibits that bring the story of aviation and space exploration to life.  The promotion also includes an aviation themed toy for children upon arrival and complimentary self-parking for the duration of the stay.

Throughout the summer months, guests can further embrace the region’s aviation culture by watching seaplanes take off and land along Lake Washington, adding another memorable element to the experience.

In addition to the special offer and premier location, Hyatt Regency Lake Washington provides a summer retreat on one of the Pacific Northwest’s most popular lakes. On-the-water activities include kayaking, paddleboarding, jet ski excursions, a floating pickleball court, and more. Guests can indulge with locally inspired cuisine at Water’s Table or opt for relaxed lakeside dining at the hotel’s seasonal dock & drink restaurant, located directly on the water. The hotel is also home to Spa at the Lake which provides soothing and rejuvenating treatments ideal for a day of relaxation.
