Capricorn Enterprise is pleased to announce the release of the 2024/25 Visitor and Lifestyle Guide for the Capricorn Coast region.
Encompassing the picturesque and adventure filled locales of Yeppoon, Rockhampton, and the townships within, this comprehensive guide is set to deliver once again a ‘go-to’ resource for both seasoned travelers and curious explorers looking to unlock the secrets of this stunning destination.
Growing year on year with new products and content, the free glove-box size 92-page booklet provides visitors with insider insights, expert recommendations, and must-see attractions, to assist in delivering an unforgettable journey along the Capricorn Coast.
The valued destination guide, which is fully funded through advertising has welcomed over 70 local businesses to this year’s edition (an increase from 60 in 2023/24), highlighting the ongoing reputation and application of the publication within the business community.
Re-publishing content favourites such as must-see street art, shareable photo spots, beach menus and island must-dos, this year’s guide also captures new content attractive to eco-conscious travelers, mountain bike and golfing enthusiasts, as well as the youngest members of our community with a ‘Best Playgrounds’ section.
With 2024 named as the Year of Accessible Tourism, the guide also incorporates content on ALL-ability activities, dining, and accommodation options, designed to make travelling to the destination easier for those requiring additional support.
Capricorn Enterprise Tourism Marketing Manager, Krista Brown is delighted to unveil the destination guide, certain that the eagerly anticipated resource will be the ultimate companion for travelers seeking to uncover the treasures of the Capricorn Coast region.
“The 2024/25 Visitor and Lifestyle Guide is intended for tactical use to disperse visitors throughout our region and increase their length of stay,” Krista said.
“With BEEF24 in mind, this edition is designed to share more Rockhampton Region experiences, and the print run has increased by a massive 20,000 copies (60,000 total print run) to meet the increase in visitation during the international event in May.”
Boasting a 12-month shelf life, the guide will be displayed in 102 accredited Visitor Information Centres across Queensland, together with other Centres along key feeder highways such as the Newell Highway which feeds into Leichhardt Highway.
In addition, the guide will be distributed throughout consumer shows Australia wide, available from all local accommodation houses, tourist attractions and local businesses, and will be included in all Information, Event and Relocation Packs mailed out by the Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre.
Showcasing the region’s diverse offerings, rich history, and warm hospitality, the Capricorn Coast Region Visitor and Lifestyle Guide is the primary piece of marketing collateral produced by Capricorn Enterprise, representing all Capricorn Coast region precincts including the hinterland of Rockhampton and Mount Morgan.
“The range of content included positions the guide in great stead as a true and accurate summary of our entire Capricorn Coast region, spanning from Stanage Bay to Keppel Bay and the townships in between including Yeppoon, Emu Park, Rockhampton, Mount Morgan, Byfield, Keppel Sands, The Caves and Stanage Bay,” Krista said. “I encourage residents to grab their free copy from the Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre and share with their friends and family to showcase the wonderful offerings we have right here in our backyard.”
