This fall, the Magnolia Hotel & Spa has received recognition in multiple national travel awards, cementing its position as Victoria’s most decorated boutique hotel.

Today, Conde Nast Traveler announced the results of its annual Readers’ Choice Awards, naming the Magnolia Hotel & Spa #8 best hotel in Western Canada, with a score of 94.02/100. More than 575,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers across the United States submitted responses rating their travel experiences across the globe to offer a comprehensive look at the places they eagerly anticipate revisiting. The Readers’ Choice Awards, with their unparalleled legacy as the travel industry’s longest-running and most prestigious accolades, remain the ultimate symbol and acknowledgment of excellence within the travel sector. Victoria also celebrates its #1 ranking in the Best Small City in the World category, and Vancouver Island was named #2 Best Island, Rest of North America.
Last month, the MICHELIN Guide announced their inaugural MICHELIN Keys for Canadian hotels, naming the Magnolia Hotel & Spa to their 1 Key distinction. 1 Key hotels represent properties, which are “a true gem with its own character and personality”, where “service always goes the extra mile”. Thirty-three unique hotels across Canada were recognized with 1 to 3 Keys, with just three on Vancouver Island.
Also in September, TripAdvisor announced its 2024 Travellers’ Choice Awards, Best of the Best, naming the Magnolia Hotel & Spa #3 best hotel in Canada. The distinction is awarded to hotels which receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews from the TripAdvisor community over the last 12 months. The Magnolia Hotel & Spa was recognised for its “excellent location, spotless rooms, and comfortable beds”, appealing to those who “appreciate beautiful decor, fresh flowers and welcome bubbly”.
