Amsterdam Comes In First Place For The Best Place To See Spring Flowers
It’s no surprise that The Netherland’s capital city takes the top spot for the best location for spring flowers. The world renowned Tulip Festival brings a large number of visitors each year. The Tulip Festival has the largest amount of social media sentiments at an impressive 59,050; as well as the joint third highest search volume (6,600), and the fourth highest number of observed flower species, at 1,671.
It’s no doubt the spectacle of the tulip fields in the Netherlands are one to add to the bucket list for 2024.
Two North American Locations Are In The Top Five Best Destinations Worldwide
The National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC takes the third spot for the best location to see the flowers bloom this spring.
The festival takes place from 20th March – 14th April and ranks high for several reasons. Not only does it have the second-highest search volume and social media mentions, at 8,100 and 32,410 respectively; but it’s also home to the third most observed flower species, at 1,673.
Wrapping up the top five most vibrant spring flower spectacles is The Canadian Tulip Festival in Ottawa. The event takes place between 10th-20th May, boasting a range of activities during the ten days, including movie screenings and the nightly backlight boardwalk.
The Canadian Tulip Festivals ranks high with the highest number of Google search volumes and second-largest amount of monthly rainfall at 101 mm.
