Through a new partnership with local classic car company, Sprintage, and inspired by the legendary Mille Miglia Race, guests can now hire a vintage car for a real taste of ‘la dolce vita’.
Inspired by the route of the famous race through the Italian countryside, Tuscany Now & More provide a selection of beautiful villas for guests to stay and can arrange a self-guided tour for guests along the well-driven route or even for an expert tour guide in a pace car to lead the way, whilst guests cruise behind in their vintage wheels. Alternatively, Tuscany Now & More can arrange the cars to be delivered and collected direct from their luxury villas. The portfolio of iconic vintage cars ranges from a classic red and cream Volkswagen Maggiolino Cabriolet to a ‘James-Bond-Grey’ Alfa Romeo GT.
Drivers are encouraged to pause to admire the ancient cypress trees of the Creti Senesi from the backseat of a deep green Triumph Spitfire. Wind through Chianti in a sleek black Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider. Slow down and bask in the Tuscan sun and breathe in the surroundings with a healthy pinch of nostalgia, from a stylish convertible. Or, follow the shoreline of Lake Garda up to Sirmione in a classic sky-blue Fiat 500 convertible that would not be out of place on an Italian film set.
