Panama City Beach, renowned for its 27 miles of sugar-white sand beaches and stunning turquoise waters, is pleased to unveil its latest news and openings for 2025. With captivating new attractions, enhanced accessibility offerings, and more, the destination invites visitors to plan an unforgettable, Real. Fun. Beach. getaway in the new year.

Food and Beverage:

Pirates Voyage and Dinner Show — Opening Spring 2025

Dolly Parton is bringing the swashbuckling fun of her Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show to Panama City Beach this spring! This captivating new attraction will offer an immersive dining experience featuring a four-course feast, epic pirate battles, and spectacular stunts. Inside the sprawling 60,000-square-foot indoor theater, families can enjoy an action-packed show as pirates battle on deck, in the water of a 15-foot-deep lagoon and in the “sky” above two full-sized pirate ships. In addition to high-flying acrobatics and pyrotechnics, audiences will encounter tropical birds, playful sea lions and much more.

McGuires Irish Pub — Opening February 2025

Adding a third location in January 2025, McGuires Irish Pub will bring a turn-of-the-century, New York Irish Saloon-themed restaurant to Panama City Beach. Celebrated for its lively atmosphere with more than one million signed dollar bills hanging from the ceilings and walls, McGuires Irish Pub will serve up delicious food, drinks, and live Irish entertainment.

Attractions and Experiences:

Topgolf — Opening Summer 2025

Golf entertainment complex Topgolf will open a new facility in Panama City Beach’s Pier Park area, bringing a modern, high-tech golf experience to the destination. The two-story venue will feature 74 outdoor climate-controlled hitting bays, a full-service restaurant and bar, a 22-foot video wall, more than 140 HDTVs, an outdoor patio, music, and year-round family-friendly programming. Enhanced, deluxe bays and an outdoor area with yard games will also offer the prime spot for team outings and family gatherings.

Fun For All Microsite — Launching Spring 2025

Continuing the evolution of its “Fun. For. All.” accessible travel initiative, Visit Panama City Beach is gearing up to launch the official “Fun. For. All.” Microsite. Designed to be a valuable resource for visitors planning an accessible getaway, the site will feature interactive maps and content that spotlights a variety of accessible offerings throughout the destination.

Shop By the Shore Trail — Launching January 2025

The Shop the Shore Trail offers an unmatched coastal shopping experience featuring locally loved treasures that capture the charm of Panama City Beach. Visitors can grab a Shop by the Shore passport from the Visitors Center or participating stores and follow the map for a unique shopping adventure. Get your passport stamped at each stop, then drop by the Visitor Center for a special souvenir!

Frank Brown Park Skate Park—Opening Summer 2025

Frank Brown Park will expand its outdoor recreation offerings with a new skate park, set to break ground in January 2025. The park will be a state-of-the-art facility designed for skaters of all ages and skill levels, with plans for multiple skate lanes and various riding areas.

Edward F. Hickey, Jr. Park – Now Open

In an effort to make the destination’s beautiful beaches accessible to everyone, Edward F. Hickey, Jr. Park at Beach Access 22 was recently converted into a new ADA beach access point. All features at Edward F. Hickey, Jr. Park are designed to accommodate those with mobility challenges, including handicapped parking spaces, an accessible beach ramp and over 100 feet of mobility mats that extend from the sand to the shoreline, allowing beachgoers using mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walkers and canes to enjoy the beach. To further enhance the experience for visitors, a new accessible viewing platform is scheduled to be added later this year. 

Frank Brown Park Pickleball Courts – Opening 2025

Frank Brown Park continues to grow its amenities in 2025 with the addition of 10 pickleball courts, adding a fun and fast-paced option for players to enjoy this increasingly popular sport. Construction is expected to begin in August, with completion in late 2025.
