Wyndham and Decameron All-Inclusive Resorts: What’s Changed and Where to Stay

Updated October 2026

For travelers seeking an easygoing beachfront escape, all-inclusive resorts remain an appealing way to experience Mexico and Central America. From the golden beaches of Riviera Nayarit to the dramatic coastline of Los Cabos and the tropical shores of Panama, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Decameron continue to offer vacation experiences that combine accommodation, dining, entertainment, and recreation.

In May 2024, Wyndham and Decameron announced a partnership that introduced nine all-inclusive resorts across Mexico, Panama, and Jamaica into Wyndham’s hotel portfolio. The agreement also allowed travelers to earn and redeem Wyndham Rewards points at participating properties.

However, the resort lineup has changed since that announcement. While six of the original properties remain listed under Wyndham’s Trademark Collection and Ramada brands, three Jamaican resorts have transitioned to a different hotel operator.

Here’s a closer look at the participating resorts and what travelers should know when planning their next getaway.

All-Inclusive Resorts in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico

Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit continues to attract travelers with its Pacific Ocean beaches, colorful coastal towns, and welcoming atmosphere. Four Decameron properties in the region remain listed as part of Wyndham’s hotel collection.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerías, A Trademark All-Inclusive

Located along Banderas Bay, the Grand Decameron Complex Bucerías combines three hotel sections into an expansive beachfront vacation setting.

The colorful resort features five swimming pools, multiple restaurants and bars, sports facilities, and organized activities for families. Its location in Bucerías also allows visitors to explore the town’s art galleries, local restaurants, and traditional Mexican atmosphere.

Travelers can spend their mornings relaxing along the Pacific shoreline before discovering nearby destinations such as Sayulita and Puerto Vallarta.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos, Ramada All-Inclusive Resort

For travelers who prefer a more relaxed beach community, Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos offers a family-friendly setting near Playa Guayabitos.

The resort features four swimming pools, casual dining, sports activities, and evening entertainment. Guests can also access selected restaurants and amenities at neighboring Decameron properties, subject to the resort’s arrangements.

The surrounding town of Rincón de Guayabitos is known for its laid-back character, beachside restaurants, and opportunities to explore the nearby coastline.

Decameron La Marina Guayabitos, Ramada All-Inclusive Resort

The Decameron La Marina Guayabitos provides another option for visitors exploring southern Nayarit.

Located a short walk from Playa Guayabitos, the modern resort includes an outdoor swimming pool, restaurants, bars, and organized entertainment.

Beyond the resort, guests can arrange boat excursions to Coral Island, explore nearby beaches, or discover the coastal communities of San Pancho and Sayulita.

Decameron Isla Coral Guayabitos, Ramada All-Inclusive Resort

Overlooking Playa Guayabitos, Decameron Isla Coral Guayabitos offers a contemporary all-inclusive experience.

The resort combines comfortable accommodations with an outdoor pool, dining options, daytime activities, and evening entertainment.

Its location makes it a convenient base for visitors interested in snorkeling, exploring Coral Island, or enjoying the relaxed pace of Mexico’s Pacific coast.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Beachfront Vacations in Baja California Sur

At the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, Grand Decameron Los Cabos, A Trademark All-Inclusive Resort combines an oceanfront location with convenient access to San José del Cabo.

The resort features three outdoor swimming pools, restaurants, bars, organized recreation, and evening entertainment.

For travelers who enjoy exploring beyond their hotel, San José del Cabo offers a charming historic center filled with art galleries, boutiques, and restaurants. The surrounding region is also known for golf, desert landscapes, water sports, and dramatic coastal scenery.

Visitors can easily combine days spent relaxing at the resort with excursions around the wider Los Cabos region.

Grand Decameron Panama: A Pacific Coast Escape

For travelers considering somewhere beyond Mexico, Grand Decameron Panama, A Trademark All-Inclusive Resort offers a beachfront retreat in Farallón, along Panama’s Pacific coast.

The sprawling resort overlooks Playa Blanca and features six swimming pools, restaurants, bars, tennis facilities, an outdoor cinema, and entertainment for guests of different ages.

Golf enthusiasts can also enjoy access to the neighboring Mantarraya Golf Club, while families will find a range of recreational activities throughout the property.

Beyond the resort, visitors can explore the surrounding coastline or arrange excursions farther afield to discover Panama’s culture, landscapes, and the world-famous Panama Canal.

What Happened to the Decameron Resorts in Jamaica?

Although Jamaica was part of the original Wyndham–Decameron agreement, the three resorts included in that arrangement have undergone significant changes.

Decameron Club Caribbean Runaway Bay transitioned away from Decameron management in July 2025, with MGM Muthu Hotels assuming operations and introducing the Grand Muthu Club Caribbean name.

Two additional properties, Grand Decameron Montego Beach and Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach, became the subject of an acquisition agreement involving MGM Muthu Hotels in January 2026.

Jamaican tourism authorities have subsequently identified the properties under the new names Muthu Diamond Lagoon and Muthu Crystal Cove, respectively.

Both Montego Bay hotels were reported closed during 2026, with reopening plans announced for December. The former Club Caribbean property in Runaway Bay has also been included in Jamaica’s hotel recovery plans, with a reopening targeted for early 2027.

Because these resorts are transitioning to a different operator, travelers should not rely on their former Wyndham or Decameron affiliations when making reservations or planning to use loyalty points.

Travelers considering these Jamaican properties should confirm their latest names, operating status, and reservation arrangements directly with MGM Muthu Hotels.

Can You Still Use Wyndham Rewards at Decameron Resorts?

One of the original partnership’s principal attractions was the opportunity for Wyndham Rewards members to earn and redeem points at participating all-inclusive properties.

That benefit remains an important consideration for travelers planning vacations at resorts listed within Wyndham’s current portfolio.

However, reward eligibility, redemption requirements, and the number of points needed for a stay can change. Travelers should confirm each property’s participation and the applicable conditions when making a reservation.

The most reliable starting point is Wyndham’s official all-inclusive resort directory, where guests can review individual hotels and explore current reservation options.

Planning Your Next All-Inclusive Vacation

The Wyndham–Decameron partnership helped introduce travelers to beachfront destinations beyond some of the most familiar all-inclusive vacation areas.

Today, participating properties in Riviera Nayarit, Los Cabos, and Panama continue to offer a range of vacation experiences, from family-friendly beach resorts to expansive properties with golf and recreation.

Whether the goal is discovering a quieter Mexican coastal town, exploring Baja California Sur, or experiencing Panama’s Pacific beaches, these resorts provide appealing starting points for a sun-filled getaway.

As hotel partnerships, ownership, and operating arrangements can evolve, travelers should always confirm current resort affiliations and inclusions before booking.
