Puerto Rico golf resorts continue to solidify their reputation as premier travel destinations, with three being voted to Travel + Leisure’s prestigious “World’s Best” ranking as “Top 5 Favorite Resorts in Puerto Rico.”
This achievement underscores the high quality of Puerto Rico’s golf venues, the Island’s memorable travel experiences, and its world-class hospitality.
“Having these resort properties recognized for their outstanding amenities and appeal is an honor for which we congratulate them,” said Brad Dean, CEO, Discover Puerto Rico. “That readers’ votes determined the resort rankings provides credible, third-party reviews of the destination’s wonderful, unique golf courses and resorts.”
Travel + Leisure conducts the World’s Best Awards survey annually, asking readers to rate their travel experiences worldwide, covering categories like hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, and airlines. In 2024, over 186,000 readers participated, casting more than 700,000 votes across 8,700 properties. Hotels were categorized as resort hotels, city hotels, inns, or safari lodges and rated based on rooms/facilities, location, service, food, and value. Respondents rated each criterion as excellent, above average, average, below average, or poor, and final scores were calculated from these responses.
