BC Hotel Chain Creating Canada’s First Hotel Room Designed Intentionally for Sex

Starting this summer, Hotel Zed guests can book The Love Nest to celebrate intimacy and exploration

Hotel Zed, the retro-inspired B.C. hotel chain, is sharing a peek behind the velvet curtain to reveal plans for their newest specialty room – The Love Nest. Designed to explore pleasure and boost sexual wellness, the new room launches at their Victoria location just in time for a steamy summer getaway!

“Sex has always happened in hotel rooms – and I am passionate about creating a place for enhanced intimacy and celebrating sex positivity,” said Mandy Farmer, CEO of Hotel Zed and visionary behind The Love Nest. “Good sex is empowering and conversations about sex need to be brought out into the open. There is no shame here.”

Renderings of the room showcase the retro-inspired décor, featuring a Playpen Sofa, a Tantric Chaise, a dancing pole, a mirrored wall with velvet curtains, a large wet-room with a peekaboo window, a custom headboard invented to offer stability with a long grab bar, and so much more to explore.

“The Love Nest is a gorgeous, lavishly designed space that evokes the thrill of a speakeasy. It’s exclusive, unexpected and beautiful.” Farmer added, “For locals and visitors to the city alike, The Love Nest will offer our guests a uniquely intimate experience that they can keep coming back for.”

With construction expected to be complete in June, The Love Nest will set a new standard for sexual wellness and experiences in the Canadian hotel industry. Created with intentional inclusivity, The Love Nest provides guests with a variety of options for exploration and pleasure for all relationships and all bodies.

Hotel Zed is well-known for their sex-positive approach.
