Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski St. Moritz Debuts 67 Renovated Suites

After a CHF 16.5 million investment, the hotel unveils the third chapter of its comprehensive room renovation program, introducing 67 newly refreshed accommodations. This latest phase brings the total number of upgraded rooms and suites to 151, marking a significant milestone in the property’s ongoing evolution. Respectfully intertwining its Belle Époque legacy with modern alpine sensibilities, the redesigned interiors showcase regional materials and artisanal craftsmanship, creating refined, contemporary retreats tailored for the winter season.

A New Culinary Era: From Playful Italian Energy to Aegean Fire

This winter also signals a dramatic reinvention of the hotel’s dining landscape, led by three standout culinary openings.

Crazy Pizza St. Moritz, developed in collaboration with the Majestas Group, arrives as a bold, high-octane dining concept that blends Italian culinary spectacle with Kempinski’s hallmark service excellence. Taking over the former Da Adriano space, the venue delivers an elevated yet vibrant atmosphere. Long-time Maître d’ Adriano Feraco remains in charge, ensuring the continuation of the personalized service for which the restaurant has long been celebrated.

Providing a striking counterpoint to the snow-covered Engadin Valley, Neora makes its debut as the region’s first open-fire Greek fine-dining restaurant. Rooted in ancient cooking methods, the menu highlights flame-driven techniques and the expressive flavors of the Aegean, bringing Mediterranean warmth to the alpine setting.

Returning for a second winter season, Billionaire St. Moritz once again transforms the hotel into a cosmopolitan nightlife destination. Flavio Briatore’s iconic brand delivers a theatrical dinner experience that fuses refined cuisine with live artistic performances, creating evenings defined by glamour, energy, and international flair.

Reimagining Signature Spaces: From Private Tastings to Elevated Mixology

Alongside new openings, the hotel refines its established venues. Les Saisons, the main restaurant, introduces an exclusive private enclave designed for intimate tasting menus and curated gourmet experiences. Meanwhile, the lobby bar reemerges as Quintessence Bar & Lounge, featuring a dedicated Macallan Experience alongside expertly crafted cocktails. The much-anticipated Beluga Igloo also returns to the hotel park, offering guests a distinctive outdoor setting for Beluga vodka and premium caviar amid the winter landscape.

Wellness Reimagined: Regenerative Medicine at the Source of Alpine Spa Culture

Reaffirming St. Moritz’s historic role as a destination for healing and rejuvenation, the hotel expands its wellness offering through an exclusive partnership with the Image Regenerative Institute, opening on 9 December 2025. This collaboration brings together Kempinski’s five-star hospitality and the pioneering medical expertise of Professor Carlo Tremolada, internationally recognized for developing the Lipogems® regenerative technology. Located beside the historic Mauritius Spring—where Alpine spa culture was born—the institute introduces advanced longevity medicine and aesthetic treatments as an integrated part of the guest experience.

Italian Smart Luxury Arrives in St. Moritz

Adding a fashion-forward dimension to the season, the hotel welcomes Italian menswear and lifestyle brand Eleventy, which opens an in-house boutique. Known for its “Smart Luxury” ethos, the brand’s understated Milano elegance aligns seamlessly with the refined yet relaxed rhythm of St. Moritz.

A Forward-Looking Philosophy Rooted in Heritage

“This season represents our ongoing commitment to respecting the history of this iconic property while continually evolving to meet the expectations of today’s international traveler,” says General Manager Konstantin Zeuke. “From the newly renovated rooms to the arrival of Crazy Pizza and Neora, and the enhancement of our signature spaces, we are shaping an Alpine luxury experience grounded in authenticity, craftsmanship, and modern sophistication.”
