In a world first, they have arranged for two communities who are part of the ancient Kula Trading Ring exchange system to conduct negotiations and a Kula ceremony for the groups on idyllic Dobu island. Travellers will visit the famed Huli Wigmen in a highland village completely off the tourist trail, allowing for an authentic and immersive experience which includes a traditional mumu feast with the villagers. Groups gain special access to a new archaeological dig site on the Sepik River and join the curator of the National Museum & Art Gallery in Port Moresby for a behind-the-scenes look at some of the museums rarest collections.
