December has been a significant and exciting month for Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, with three of its all-inclusive properties across Mexico and the Caribbean unveiling major updates and new functionalities.
The popularity and growth of all-inclusive resorts can be attributed to several factors, reflecting changing travel preferences and the evolving needs of modern travelers. With that in mind, Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts is dedicated to staying ahead of trends while delivering exceptional service and amenities.
“In an ever-evolving hospitality industry, it is our pleasure to announce enhancements to select family-friendly properties in the Caribbean and Mexico,” said Helen Montijano, Commercial Director for the USA & Canada at Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts. “These changes are a result of our commitment to elevating guest experiences and adding vibrancy to our already proven track record and excellent service in dreamy destinations. From new design elements to recreated areas, guests will find excitement in every corner.”
Located in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal has opened a series of new and revamped spaces. Aside from adding stylish new room types, including Deluxe Swim-up Suites, the resort boasts updated dining areas such as the YUM buffet, whose name is inspired by Yum Kaax, the god of agriculture, hunting, and protection of nature. The 758-room property now includes the new gourmet restaurant KU’UK, while wet bar HA is ideal for those who wish to enjoy a cocktail without leaving the pool. Meanwhile, TIKALITO will no doubt satisfy those looking for a quick snack while staying close to the sunny outdoors.
Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, has also unveiled a series of significant changes. Guests can now discover a wholly refurbished area that combines fun, entertainment, and outstanding cuisine. LA ISLA, just in front of the main swimming pool and the new pool, is a gastronomic complex including a food truck and international specialties. It also features an entertainment area for the whole family with a kids’ club, playground area, revolving stage, climbing wall, an area for cooking lessons, and much more. The resort is also unveiling two new room categories: Junior Suite Premium and 2 Bedroom Suite.
Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica, in Runaway Bay, now boasts new offerings at its restaurants and bars. Similarly, The Round Island Food Market has been completely reimagined and now features stands where guests can choose from various pastas, vegetables, pizzas, pastries, and much more. New room types, including the oceanfront Junior Suite Premium, are also part of the upgrades at the property.
As announced previously, Bahia Principe is also celebrating with another exciting development: the reopening of its Luxury Esmeralda property in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, following a 35-million-dollar renovation that includes new room categories, a reimagined design process, and an enhanced culinary experience.
