Midsummer Night’s Dream – Performance
Love the circus? Head over to Billesley Manor this Friday for an outdoor circus-inspired reimagining of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, presented by ULTRAVIOLET Productions. An original adaptation of Shakespeare’s infamous comedy of love, magic, and dreams with live music and expressive dances promises to spin a tale full of laughter and romance.
A beloved favorite, this hilarious comedy tells the story of vibrant young lovers lost in a forest one fateful Midsummer night. As they tiptoe deeper into the trees, they discover a family of forgotten clowns, ousted from fame by the younger, snazzier Mechanical Circus Troupe. As feuds ignite and passions swell, these warring carnivals will battle for the spotlight, desperate to win the hearts of their audience.

Annual Gin Festival
Mark your calendars, the much-anticipated Gin Festival is back! Co-hosted by Billesley Manor Hotel & Spa and Shakespeare Distillery, the festival will take place on Sunday 17th July from 12 noon to 5pm. The newly refurbished Billesley Manor is the perfect location, as its 125-year-old Topiary Garden is sure to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere to stage the festival, ensuring attendees have a wonderful time at the event.
At the festival, guests can enjoy a variety of fantastic craft gins from a selection of gin distilleries and the chef’s selection of locally sourced food (purchased separately). There will also be live music from Global Acts International Music Agency; Aurora, a band with a repertoire full of best-loved party songs and Grace, a dynamic duo singing favorite feel good classics. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, guests can sit in awe, relax in the sunshine whilst sipping a refreshing glass of Gin from the distillery.
