Discover the secrets of Casas Latinas with two beautiful new properties in France, announced for 2023

From the azure shores of the South of France to the snow-capped mountains of the Three Valleys in the French Alps, these incredible new properties compliment the unique Casas Latinas collection.

Both of these new properties, Cassis and Méribel Belvédere are part of Casas Latinas –  a stunning collection of beautiful estates, hotels and villas across France, Italy, Spain and Latin America.  Founder and CEO of Casas Latinas Massimo Ianni says ‘At Casas Latinas our incredible portfolio of properties across the world are hand-picked for their unique credentials.  All of them have sustainability at the forefront but each has their own special appeal and dedication to providing the ultimate unique stay – reframing the experience we have and the way we travel’.

Cassis

Cassis is situated just 45 minutes from Marseille airport on the Côte d’Azur and is one of the largest and most prestigious villas on the stylish French Riviera and is steeped in history. Situated on the sparkling shores of the Cote d’Azur, the property was a formerly a hotel where guests included Virginia Woolf and Winston Churchill. The building and grounds were completely renovated in 2017 and the villa is now available for exclusive buy-out for holiday rentals or corporate events, as well as wellbeing retreats. Casa Cassis is the perfect location for a summer in the South of France – a family holiday or special event such as a wedding or reunion. Surrounded by fragrant pine trees and glorious sea views this is the ultimate retreat for those wishing to unwind and relax in a beautiful setting.

Located in the Calanques National Park, the villa offers exceptional panoramic views of the Mediterranean. The light-filled interiors combine modernity, simplicity, high comfort and technology. A vast 500 m2 terrace overlooks a beach which is a five-minute walk via a private path.  With four sea-view reception rooms and twelve bedrooms the property can comfortably accommodate twenty-four guests. There is an 13m aquamarine heated swimming pool, a hot tub with sea views, an orangery with games and gym equipment as well as an outside petanque court. Activities include boat tours, kayaking, paddle boarding, climbing, biking, golf, yoga and cookery classes.

Méribel Belvédère

An exciting new property at Casas Latinas this year, sitting directly on the slopes of Méribel, one of the best ski locations in the world (also British royals Kate and Pippa Middleton’s favourite hotspot), Méribel Belvédere is a stunning luxury alpine ski apartment-chalet that can accommodate up to 14 guests. Centrally located next to the Rond Point des Pistes, this luxuriously renovated apartment complex overlooks the picturesque alpine village of Méribel.

The penthouse offers breathtaking vistas of the mountain and the interiors have been designed to be cozy and intimate and yet elegant. After a day on the slopes, treat yourself to some pampering in the vast wellness area that includes an indoor pool (25m), spa (hammam & sauna), bar and children’s recreation room. The apartment offers a deluxe hotel service available on request: breakfast, full board, room service, private chef, concierge service, free shuttles to town.  Luxury, comfort and intimacy are the cornerstones of your stay in this exceptional apartment-chalet.

Les Trois Vallées is the perfect escape not only for the ski-season but also during the summer months when the ski lifts reopen for walking and mountain biking.  The mountains in the summer are the perfect climate for hiking and biking trails, teeming with wildflowers, mountain streams and waterfalls. There is also an ice-rink, swimming pool and climbing wall in the Olympic Centre in Méribel – perfect for family activity holidays. Activities include downhill and cross-country skiing, a range of wellness activities, yoga, and golf (in the summer months).

Méribel has great shopping – especially in nearby Courchevel, which is teeming with designer boutiques. Mountain top restaurants are fabulous so book ahead – the newly opened Tibetan inspired Maya Altitude restaurant is a must-go this year and Le Folie Douce above Meribél is a favourite mountain party-spot.  Lower down in the valley in Les Glaciers on the Route de la Montée there is a bakery, while La Fromagerie at Galerie  des Cimes offers a variety of cheeses. Twice a week, there’s also a market on Route de la Chaudanne.
