Constance Hotels & Resorts is taking over the management of a new luxury boutique hotel on Pemba Island, Zanzibar – Aiyana.
Aiyana has been open a year but only been marketed very softly while work has been completed. It has been a labour of love by the owners who have spent 8 years getting the property ready and working very closely with the local community.
Aiyana has just 30 villas and all of them have spectacular sea views, overlooking a stunning beach. It is situated on the northern most edge of Pemba Island, close to the Ngezi Rainforest which is the last remains of a huge tract of indigenous forest which used to cover most of Pemba.. Ngezi is home to wonderful wildlife including the Pemba Flying Fox, a bat endemic to the island and a troop of vervet monkeys.
Aiyana is surrounded by untouched coral reefs making it one of the very top dive sites in the world.
Constance Hotels & Resorts will open the hotel as Constance Aiyana on 1st of January 2018, bringing their top expertise and management skills, having owned and operated luxury hotels in the Indian Ocean for nearly 20 years. They will start offering the hotel to UK travellers, both as a stand alone destination and as a beach add on to a safari in Tanzania.
