Embark on a family adventure to Geneva this Summer with The Guardians

This summer, Geneva Tourism invites families to step into a world of mystery, discovery, and imagination with its interactive outdoor experience, The Guardians. Designed for children aged 8–12—yet equally engaging for curious parents and puzzle-loving teens—this self-guided city adventure transforms Geneva into a real-life playground of clues, stories, and hidden surprises.

At the heart of the experience is the legend of the Secret Guardians of Geneva—mythical protectors of the city who have fallen into a deep sleep after the disappearance of the nine symbols that form the enchanted Magic Crest. Young explorers are called upon this summer to take on an exciting mission: follow a trail through the city, solve clever riddles inspired by Geneva’s rich heritage, and recover the missing symbols to awaken the Guardians once more.

The adventure begins at the Rotonde du Mont-Blanc, where families are greeted with a spectacular first view of the iconic Jet d’Eau—setting the scene for a memorable day of exploration. Each stop along the route reveals a new chapter of the story, making The Guardians an ideal summer activity for families seeking something active, cultural, and fun.

Each adventure kit includes a game booklet filled with puzzles, a city map, colouring pencils to spark creativity, a souvenir postcard, and a Magic Crest to rebuild as the journey unfolds. Adding a meaningful touch, £1 from every kit sold is donated to MyClimate – Cause We Care, allowing families to support environmental initiatives while enjoying their experience.

Blending storytelling, exploration, and hands-on fun, The Guardians offers a fresh and imaginative way to discover Geneva this summer—encouraging curiosity, inspiring creativity, and creating lasting family memories in one of Europe’s most beautiful lakeside cities.
