Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech has a new Tennis Partnership

Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech, the iconic five star resort situated just south of Marrakech, has launched a new partnership with LUX Tennis. Thanks to the new partnership, those inspired by Alcaraz’s recent Wimbledon win can take to one of the four clay tennis courts to work on their serve in style. Whether guests wish to arrange a set of bespoke lessons to hone a particular skill, try out the wildly popular Padel variation, take part in fun events or simply enjoy a knock around with friends and family, there’s something for all interests and abilities.

The second-to-none facilities are surrounded by over 230 hectares of olive groves and countryside, overlooked by the mighty snow-capped Atlas Mountains, and are also illuminated at night for those wishing to hit the nets beneath the stars. The courts sit behind the Fitness Centre, which is fully air conditioned and kitted out with Technogym equipment and an Olympic sized swimming pool, perfect for a pre-game warm-up.  Post-match, players can soothe aching muscles with a visit to the state-of-the-art 3,500sqm spa, which is designed like a riad and features a traditional Hammam.

A total oasis in the desert just 20 minutes from the Medina, the hotel boasts 134 opulent guest rooms, suites & villas overlooking landscaped gardens and with incredible views towards the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. Each room features a wonderful terrace, and the decoration combines traditional craftsmanship and textiles with contemporary design, allowing guests to really connect with the destination and its culture.

Guests can indulge in one of the six eclectic restaurants and bars offering local, seasonal and international cuisine, a 2,000 sqm pool (the largest in Marrakech), and make use of the enchanting 500 sqm Kids’ Club, considered the largest in Morocco.

The Golf & Country Club includes the impressive 18-hole Golf Course designed by Cabell B. Robinson, plus many other facilities such as The Farm with its own vegetable garden, herbs, olive and orange trees, making for endless fun, education and activity for guests to enjoy and take a new skill home.
