Five Beaches Around the World You’ll Want to Visit

There are so many beautiful beaches around the world. While it would be impossible to travel to all of them, here are five that you should definitely try to visit.

Tokashiku Beach, Japan

Seeing as Japan is an island nation, it should come as no surprise to learn that the country has numerous beautiful beaches. Furthermore, they are always clean, have soft sand, and emerald green waters. The best is arguably Tokashiku Beach on Tokashiki Island. With surrounding mountains and glorious white sands, Tokashiku Beach is the ideal place to relax in the sunshine. It also has lots of diverse marine life, including sea turtles that often come to shore to feed when the tide is high. You can even go swimming with the turtles via a local tour operator.

Poʻipū Beach, Hawaii

Japan is not the only place where you can swim with sea turtles. You can also do it at Poʻipū Beach on Kauaʻi, the second-oldest of the main Hawaiian Islands. And while you relax on the beach, you could always play the fantastic ハワイアンドリーム (Hawaiian Dream) slot game to get into the Hawaiian spirit. Hawaii is of course world-famous for its glorious beaches, and there are so many to choose from, that it is challenging to pick the best. But Poʻipū Beach is definitely a contender for first place. It is a great place for catching waves for surfing. There are also calm tidepools that children can safely enjoy. If you are lucky, you might even get a glimpse of the monk seals that inhabit the area. And watching the sun go down on Poʻipū Beach is quite simply an incredible experience you will never forget.

Al Mughsail Beach, Oman

Located off the coast of Salalah, which is the third-largest city in the Sultanate of Oman, Al Mughsail Beach is unlike any other beach in the world. The reason is its dramatic blowholes that erupt every few minutes, shaking the ground and spewing out seawater. But the blowholes are not the only attraction on offer. The beach features perfect white sand, parched frankincense trees, and four miles of beautiful limestone cliffs. As for the water, it is a gorgeous gleaming turquoise color. If you get the chance to visit Al Mughsail Beach, you will not regret it.

Playa Paraiso, Cuba

They say there are no beaches left in the world that have not been “touristized,” but Playa Paraiso at Cayo Largo del Sur in Cuba looks pretty much the same as it did when Columbus arrived back in 1494. Playa Paraiso, which is Spanish for “Paradise Beach,” is a paradise indeed. It features warm crystalline waters, fine sand, and nearby reefs. The latter provides some of the best diving in all of the Caribbean. If you are a wildlife lover, you might get to see giant sea turtles and iguanas. Also, if you like to get an all-over tan, head to the naturist area at the east end of the beach.

Benguerra Island Beach, the Bazaruto Archipelago, Mozambique

Off the coast of southern Mozambique, you will find the stunning islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago. The beach on Benguerra Island is arguably the best in the area. The fine-grained sand shimmers in the sun, flamingoes often make their way through the channels, and a two-mile-long coral reef engulfs the area. If you are fortunate, you might even see massive migrating humpback whales off the shore. A little further inland, you will find crocodiles and a wide array of bird species. But even if you do not explore the wildlife, Benguerra Island Beach is the perfect location to bathe in the sun and forget all of your cares.
