On June 13th, 2025, the Formula 1 Pirelli Grand Prix du Canada, Canada’s most popular sporting event, kicked off in Montreal, Quebec, The Grand Prix brought an exhilarating three days of competition, and world-class events to Montreal’s vibrant city, welcoming upwards of 300,000 race enthusiasts for one of the must-attend sporting events in Canada. Most importantly, the Formula 1 Pirelli Grand Prix du Canada marked the first opportunity for Canadians to witness the iconic Glenfiddich and Aston Martin Formula One™ Team partnership on Canadian soil, with exclusive experiences on and off the track.

Glenfiddich and Aston Martin Formula One™ Team pushed the boundaries of excellence during the Formula 1 Pirelli Grand Prix du Canada, offering VIP attendees unmatched, exclusive experiences such as Glenfiddich’s Club 1959 and the Aston Martin Formula One™ Team VIP Hospitality Experience.

Glenfiddich Club 1959

Glenfiddich hosted its exclusive Club 1959 at the ultra-luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Montreal, hosted by Canadian National Brand Ambassador Jamie Johnson. The one-night-only event encompassed an exclusive dinner, offering its esteemed guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the prestige of the Glenfiddich and Aston Martin Formula One™ Team partnership through an evening of storytelling, fine dining, and whisky tastings, sharing the brand’s legacies of craftsmanship and creativity, intrinsically linked through time.

The luxurious evening welcomed guests with the 1959 Spritz, served over cocktail hour in MARCUS Restaurant’s opulent night bar. The evening flowed into dinner, offering guests a specially curated 4-course menu prepared by MARCUS Restaurant, leading attendees through an exquisite fine-dining experience. Each delectable course curated by MARCUS was paired with a specially selected Glenfiddich single malt. The dinner included an address by Aston Martin Formula One™ Team Driver Ambassador Pedro de la Rosa, as well as a celebratory toast of the ultra-luxurious Glenfiddich 30 Year Old, led by Canadian National Brand Ambassador, Jamie Johnson.

The dinner delighted guests with an introductory course of charcuterie, oak barrel drunken cocktail shrimp, and Glenfiddich tomato salad with barrel-aged scotch vinegar, paired with Glenfiddich 12 Year Old. The second course featured lamp chop with artichoke and pepper-scotch mostarda and scotch-flamed octopus, paired with Glenfiddich 14 Year Old. The third course included family-style whole lobster, Piccadilly pasta, whisky Denver steak, and rapini, accompanied by potato puree and truffle fries, paired with Glenfiddich 15 Year Old. The dinner concluded with a dessert of single malt billionaires and giant fruit platters paired with Glenfiddich 18 Year Old.

Following the dinner, guests were invited to the lounge to experience Glenfiddich’s signature “Timeless” cocktails, inspired by Glenfiddich and the Aston Martin Formula One™ Team. The menu featured the 1959 Spritz, masterfully crafted with Glenfiddich 15 Year Old, premium pear liquor, soda, and lime, as well as the Warehouse & Whisky Sour, a twist on the timeless classic, garnished with smoke—a nod to a quick getaway. The third signature serve featured was a refined Glenfiddich Old Fashioned, a classic cocktail crafted with Glenfiddich 14 Year Old, demerara syrup, peach bitters, and an orange twist garnish. A non-alcoholic cocktail, A Spritz Second, was available in line with the two brands’ shared values of responsible attitudes to alcohol.

The luxurious tablescapes were decorated in the signature teal dark green, signifying the iconic partnership of the two brands, accented with creamy shades of white, and striking fresh green florals. The tables were lit with an abundance of candles, exuding the grandeur of Glenfiddich and Aston Martin Formula One™ Team’s multi-year partnership and the shared legacy of luxury, craftsmanship and creativity of the two iconic brands.

Club 1959 is titled after the year that Aston Martin Formula One™ Team first entered Formula 1® and Glenfiddich’s 1959 65-Year-Old single malt scotch whisky that first toasted the iconic partnership. The exclusive Club 1959 forged a new chapter in hospitality and the coming together of icons, bringing the ethos of these two brands on and off the track with immersive experiences that blend the innovation and prestige of the two iconic brands.
