Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen announces their latest gastronomic venture with the opening of Sushi ‘n’ Raw Seafood bar and restaurant.
Since its opening in 2015 as the only beachfront luxury resort on Mamita’s Beach, Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen has been dedicated to offering clientele unmatched, dynamic dining experiences. Led by Chef Antonio Herrera, Sushi ‘n’ Raw is based on a contemporary, progressive Japanese culinary concepts that focus on locally-sourced fish and produce, highlighting the region’s best. The menu will showcase a wide array of delicate flavors of nigiri, sashimi, and sushi rolls, complemented with curated poke, ramen and bento boxes.
- Restaurant will feature a sophisticated 42-seated, walls-free dining area that faces a breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea
- Eight-person sushi bar, where guests will be treated to live cooking and sushi demonstrations
- Menu highlight is the resort’s notable “Flaming Roll”, includes a creative mix of tampico, avocado, yuzu kosho mayo, sriracha, sesame and sweet soy, wrapped in foil and flamed upon presentation. Full menu available upon request
