The sensational sweeping landscapes of the Great Western Plains will be broadcast live into the homes of Australian viewers this weekend, as Channel Seven’s national breakfast program Sunrise takes to the road to explore regional NSW.

The following morning, the crew will be heading north to the village of Tooraweenah to take in the extraordinary views Warrumbungle Ranges and get up close and personal with the residents of the Emu Logic Farm.

Destination NSW Chief Executive Officer Sandra Chipchase said the activity was part of Destination NSW’s ongoing focus on highlighting the incredible offerings of regional and rural NSW.

“Once again our State remains at the forefront of tourism in Australia and this initiative shows that Destination NSW continues to work tirelessly to keep the spotlight on our incredible rural and regional destinations and its residents,” Ms Chipchase said.

“Whether it’s meeting some of Australia’s finest merino wool growers in Wellington or taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Warrumbungles in Tooraweenah, hosting Weekend Sunrise in the Great Western Plains should inspire many viewers to book their next trip to NSW.”
