Hôtel Dame Des Arts Celebrates Spring With The Reopening Of The Most Beautiful Rooftop In Paris

Suspended between sky and city in the heart of the Latin Quarter on Paris’ Rive Gauche, Hôtel Dame Des Arts has reopened its Rooftop Bar just in time for the arrival of warmer days and lighter evenings. Offering a Parisian experience like no other, the Rooftop envelopes guests in all-encompassing views of the Paris skyline, and an elegant and timeless atmosphere that this season embraces the spirit of Il Dolce Farniente, or ‘the sweetness of doing nothing’.

With its lush green space and exceptional 360-degree panorama over the Paris skyline, guests at the Rooftop Bar are treated to views of landmarks from Montmartre to Notre Dame, with the sun setting behind the Eiffel Tower. Combined with the hotel’s newly opened restaurant Pimpan, helmed by the talented Chef Clément Courtemanche, an evening at Hôtel Dame des Arts celebrates the juxtaposition of Paris’s vibrant energy with the invaluable art of slowing down.

An Evening in the Dame Des Arts Spirit

Begin with an aperitivo with a view. This quintessential tradition fosters a convivial and relaxed atmosphere and the Rooftop encourages guests to relax and savour the moment. There’s no rush here – just the simple pleasure of watching the sun set over the city, drink in hand. Here, classic cocktails are reinvented with bold twists: a mango and orange wine Spritz, a truffle-infused Negroni, an iced rum Espresso Martini, an Italian Margarita, and an alcohol-free Spritz for a lighter touch. Drinks are accompanied by shareable plates offering Mediterranean flavours: truffle Arancini, creamy Stracciatella, fragrant Mortadella, as well as perfectly toasted Bruschettas and golden Focaccia.

As dinner approaches, guests are welcomed into the private garden of Pimpan, the hotel’s intimate restaurant that opened in February, for an al fresco dinner in a serene green oasis. Under the creative direction of Chef Clément Courtemanche, Pimpan offers refined ‘Bistronomie’, a contemporary and thoughtful interpretation of French gastronomy blended with global influences. Chef Courtemanche was awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2023 and 2024 and stands out for his technical precision and exceptional palate. At Pimpan each dish on the intentionally concise and regularly-updated menu tells a heartfelt story, inspired by the seasons, respectful of its ingredients, and deeply rooted in the joy of sharing. Example dishes include Avocat (grilled avocado, clementines, pickles and toasted crisps) and Lieu Jaune (grilled pollock on the plancha, celery root risotto and maltaise sauce).

Hôtel Dame Des Arts is a deluxe 109 room design-inspired hotel that opened in 2023. Located in the heart of St. Germain and designed by renowned designer Raphael Navot, the interiors are a celebration of the artistic culture that the Latin Quarter has inspired since the 1920s. Over a third of the guestrooms feature an outdoor balcony, part of the hotel’s urban wellness offering that combines open spaces with biophilic design. The hotel is just moments away from Notre Dame, which reopened its doors in December after a five-year restoration.

The Rooftop Bar is open daily from 4pm until midnight.
