The LEGO Group unveils a thrilling new lineup of LEGO® Super Mario™ sets that bring beloved Nintendo franchises into the world of LEGO bricks. Fans can look forward to the brand-new LEGO Super Mario™: Mario Kart™ sets, three new additions to the LEGO Animal Crossing™ set, and the nostalgic LEGO Super Mario™ Super Mario World™: Mario & Yoshi set.
The LEGO Super Mario™: Mario Kart™ sets mark the first time Nintendo’s iconic Mario Kart franchise has been transformed into LEGO bricks. These six sets combine the excitement of Mario Kart racing with the creative potential of LEGO building. Each set features best-known characters like Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Toad, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi and Baby Peach, customizable karts, and interactive elements that bring the race to life.
Additionally, the LEGO Group is expanding the LEGO Animal Crossing™ range with three new sets that capture the charm and creativity of the popular video game series. These new sets allow builders to expand their Animal Crossing villages with familiar characters and new locations.
Also making waves, the LEGO Super Mario™ Super Mario World™: Mario & Yoshi set pays tribute to Nintendo’s classic Super Mario World™. This set brings Mario’s trusted companion Yoshi to life in a stunning 2D brick form for the first time, complete with pixelated figures and animated effects.
The new LEGO Super Mario™ Super Mario World™: Mario & Yoshi set will be available for purchase on October 1, 2024 at LEGO.ca/Mario_Yoshi, while the LEGO Super Mario™: Mario Kart™ and LEGO Animal Crossing™ sets will be available from January 1, 2025 at LEGO.ca/Themes/Super-Mario/Mario-Kart/About and LEGO.ca/Themes/Animal-Crossing/About, and LEGO stores, and select retailers.
