Madrid’s Ginkgo Sky Bar & Restaurant Launches New Summer-Inspired Cocktail List & Menu

Madrid’s twelfth-floor Ginkgo Sky Bar & Restaurant, part of 5-star luxury hotel VP Plaza España Design, has launched a new bespoke cocktail list and summer menu bringing a fusion of Spanish and Asian cuisine to the Spanish capital.

Already established as one of the best sunset spots in the city with 360º views, including a bird’s eye perspective of Madrid’s Royal Palace and the iconic Plaza de España below, as well as live music every evening from Tuesdays to Sundays, the new summer cocktail list and menu adds a new proposition for visitors, creating a relaxing retreat away from the heat of the city.

The extensive new cocktail menu features creative options such as NO ES UN MOJITO (not a mojito); a mix of Bacardi 8 rum, pineapple juice, roasted pineapple with cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg, lime and tonka bean or IN A SENTIMENTAL MOOD blending Whisky Dewar’s 12, Amontillado and thyme syrup, Martini Bitter infused with coffee and Pedro Ximénez vinegar.  The house signature drink, GINKGO COCKTAILis the venue’s most popular cocktail and a refreshing choice for hot summer days featuring Oxley gin, shiso leaves and lemongrass, Fino de Jerez and pink pepper tonic water.

The food menu includes refreshing starters such as seasonal tomato salad with burrata cheese and basil oil, Spanish potato salad with red shrimp carpaccio, mains such as sea bass ceviche and mango with ‘leche de tigre’ (tigers milk) of scarlet shrimp, salmon tartar with lime leaf and ginger marinade and roasted marrow with Galician fillet sautéed with chimichurri sauce.

With a rooftop pool (for hotel guests), a large terrace and late night bar with some of the best views of the city, as well as the new summer cocktail-list and menu; Ginkgo Sky Bar & Restaurant is the ideal place for visitors to Madrid to cool off this summer.

Ginkgo Sky Bar opens every day from Sunday to Wednesday 12:00 – 2:00am / Thursday to Saturday 12:00 – 4:00am.
