Truman Brewery’s Balance Festival – 17th– 19th June

For fitness lovers, Balance Festival, the UK’s largest celebration of wellness, food, fitness, and travel, is returning to Shoreditch this year from the 17th to the 19th of June. Truman Brewery, once home to London’s largest brewery, will host and welcome guests to participate in full-body workouts, yoga sessions, inspirational talks, and other activities to tap into a day of health and wellness under one roof.

Festivals at Victoria Park – Field Day / All Points East

August is a particularly busy month for East London’s Victoria Park, hosting two major UK music festivals and attracts a range of locals and visitors. All Points East is a major alternative music and entertainment festival held over two weekends from 19th-28th August, which features a diverse range of headline shows from Gorillaz to Tame Impala, and free activities for those looking for a fun-filled weekend of dancing. For those who prefer to rave the day away, Field Day festival will be taking place on 22nd August, offering a one-stop shop for electronic music lovers, featuring Peggy Gou and The Chemical Brothers.

London Tech Week – 13th-17th June

The UK’s tech flagship event will return on 13-17 June located at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, right in the heart of Westminster, gathering the world’s most inspirational founders, global leaders, senior investors, and rising stars to collaborate and discuss the vital role of technology on society. London Stadium – Green Day & Red-Hot Chilli Peppers – 24th,25th,26th June

Just a short distance from Hart Shoreditch, London Stadium is bringing a range of artists to its stage this June. California punks Green Day are performing their Hella Mega Tour, with supporting acts Weezer and Fall Out Boy. The Red-Hot Chilli Peppers will also be taking to the stage on 25th and 26th June, with special guests Anderson Paak, The Free Nationals and Thundercat. The 2022 tour will mark the return of guitarist and all-round cosmic musician John Frusciante to the group and performing their career-spanning hits as well as new music from their forthcoming album. As well as this, London Stadium will also be hosting the Premier League, meaning football enthusiasts can easily travel to watch their favourite teams play.

Tottenham Stadium – Guns N Roses & Lady Gaga – 1st, 2nd and 29th, 30th July

Another stadium that’s a short distance from Hart Shoreditch, is Tottenham Stadium which will be hosting a range of unforgettable concerts from the likes of rock legends Guns N Roses from the 1st – 2nd July and Oscar-winning performer Lady Gaga who will take to the stage from the 29th – 30th July. Tottenham Stadium will also be hosting the Premier League for some matches.

Pride London 50th Anniversary – 2nd July

This year marks the movement’s 50th Anniversary of celebrating the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community with a rainbow-coloured parade through Central London. As a part of Curio Collection, Hart Shoreditch is committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community and supporting the movement’s messaging throughout the hotel. Colours Hoxton will be celebrating Pride month with MUBI, Queer House Party and Fringe! Queer Film & Arts Fest! on 23rd June, with the theme being Naughty Naughtical. 100% of proceeds will go to Fringe! Queer Arts & Film Fest, a community-led organisation championing LGBTQIA+ events. 

Shoreditch Design Triangle – 17th-25th September

As one of London Design Festival’s largest districts, the festival returns to Shoreditch for its 20th edition from 17th – 25th September 2022 to celebrate different design-led happenings and reflect the creativity of the Shoreditch area. Visitors can expect a blend of product launches, exhibitions, installations, workshops, talks, tours and even some after-hours fun! Visit One of London’s Oldest Markets

As one of London’s oldest markets, Old Spitalfields Market is the original East London market, open seven days a week and founded 350 years ago. Sitting in its Victorian architecture; retailers, restaurants, market stalls, and street food vendors are all offering something exciting. Tea Dances at Spitalfields will also be making a return and further Tea Dances are pencilled in for Wednesdays, 29th June, 27th July, 31st August, and 28th September, subject, of course, to any future changes in Government guidance. Live music courtesy of Michael Spencer and his New Covent Garden Dance Orchestra is guaranteed to keep toes tapping for the entirety of the event.
